Despite the odd looks and confused head tilting behind her, she does a modernized mockery of a bow, even going as far as to put her right arm at her waist to bend. A gentleman’s bow, rather than a womanly one. Shows where her courtesies lay.

Perhaps she should have taken a gander at the sheets before agreeing to fill in for the delivery man -- poor Carlos, fallen so ill so quickly; she prays for his safety -- but she refuses to back down. Knowing how much she’s changed, from hairstyle and even to how she held her head high, as if she were proud to be who she is, she’s not even sure if the resident of the home will recognize her. Something inside her doesn’t want him to. A larger part of her wants him to... but she smothers it with the fear, and clouds begin to pass in her eyes and over everyone’s heads near spontaneously, but not so much so that it looks odd. They would all blame it on ‘fickle Mother Nature’ regardless, so even though she would never get drenched by the rain and she’d always know to prepare for a hurricane, no one would be the wiser to who -- to what she truly is.
Heels click against the stones leading up to the door, and she nervously clicks the pen in her right hand -- a habit she’s never grown out of, even since she was younger, and she doesn’t recognize that she’s even doing this, despite how she knows she is. After a pause, she raises that same hand to rasp her knuckles against the door, only to pull her company’s hat down to shield the eyes she knew he’d recognize.

“Well, I can just about guess from that comment.” Laughter itches at her throat and she allows the giggles to pull her lips into a small smile. “Likewise, Sansdy. Though, as much as I’d hate to admit, I believe I’m lost. Do you happen to know where this is?”
