This morning I woke up around seven, I went out in the chilly weather and I couldn’t feel any fatigue even though I slept 3h last night. When I got back home I had a cup of coffee and I started writing and sketching, it was a pleasing day and I feel so productive.
brief moments writing in French, collaging weeks of memories into my Muji planner and sketching constellations 💫 @studywithavalon
Master's thesis = officially submitted, graduation is now approaching fast!!
I'm back to uni after a couple weeks off (and my first ever holiday to the US, which was amazing) and I've finished the first month of my PhD! Currently getting used to my brand new lab and preparing to present my project to the entire research centre next week which is mildly terrifying
november 19th 2019 — a list: sleeping in, cleaning the flat, going to my psychiatrist appointment, cooking lunch, reading a archenemies, taking care of myself and drinking good coffee, reading, reading, reading, forever reading words, absorbing them, breathing them in and forever holding them in my heart. reading is truly magical and i wouldn’t trade it for the world.
I have to channel some study inspo into my life ✨
Another day, another desk pic.

Deadlines met. Positive energy. Goodnight sleeps. Mental health together. Making connections. Coffee because you want it, not because you need it. Studying but not over studying. Good grades. Easy sailing. Building healthy relationships. Staying on top of things. Falling but getting back on track. Never giving up. Keeping your head up.
16/03/19 - A grey morning study session, preparing for all the work I have to complete today…
An old and a new photo. I miss winter vibes and cold weather.
1.11.2019 / preparing for the month ahead and rereading Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone :)
Tips for Coping with an Awful Day
1. Distract yourself. Let your mind wander and think about fun things you’ve planned; or watch a funny movie; or call up a friend.
2. Play your favourite music.
3. Try and balance out your terrible day by thinking of something that went really well (and maybe unexpectedly well) recently.
4. Try to squeeze in time for exercise. The endorphins this releases will help to lift your mood.
5. Don’t isolate yourself. Research shows that we generally feel better if we spend time with others, rather than retreating and being on our own.
6. Try to maintain perspective. Ask yourself, “How much will this matter - a week, month or year from now?”
7. Try journaling. Many people find that just writing things down helps to drain away the negativity.
8. Go to bed early and try to fall asleep … And remember that tomorrow is another day.
