Happy birthday to me! And happy start of postgrad to me. I’m working from the kitchen as my bf is in the office and I’m obsessed with the smell of the hyacinths and having the patio doors open to let the sun in. Lots of work to get going but for now I’m going to ignore it and enjoy becoming 25 on such a gorgeous day ☀️🎉

i can’t believe we’re already halfway through september (mostly because the weather certainly isn’t acting like it here in new england…). i just finished my only class for the day and i’m gearing up for the week ahead :) happy studying everyone!

It’s the 4th of September, also known as my birthday! I’ve officially entered my 20s and I am terrified but also super excited for the next decade of my life! I treated myself to a matching sailor moon earphone case and a journal annnnd I’m ready to start my degree! Woo! 🌟

hello july, let’s have a good time

study related things I did today:

attend 3 classes (+ active participation, duh)

read 1 text for next week’s FDVL2 lecture

july 1 - what are your plans for this summer?

my plans are basically: pass exams, try to have fun inbetween studying so you won’t go crazy, write two papers, try to have fun inbetween writing so you won’t go crazy, go on vacation (I’m so hyped I hope it works out!), start internship in early september

having fun will include, but isn’t limited to: picknicks, hiking, swimming, celebrating my birthday, attending a wedding. if all goes well I’ll see my partner quite a lot, so that’s a win. I also plan on eating as much fruits as possible because I know I’ll miss them terribly once autumn comes

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

Me, it’s the panic. The panic of doing poorly on Step 2. Might not sound healthy but it works. Great motivator.
