I think maybe we aren’t talking about how hot ms jenny calendar is
So this is Jenny Calendar character versus the actress
Okay, I’m rewatching the first seasons of "Buffy" for the first time since the early 2000s.
And you’re telling me there wasn’t any queer context in the relationship between Ethan Rayne and Giles? I mean, it’s not even subtext—they’re talking like exes... I knew they were being shipped, but I didn't really think there were so many reasons for it
WTF
favorite jenny calendar looks -> season 2
god i love this woman
It probably sounds weird, but I have a bit of a beef with the Dalgliesh book/show over the fact that Adam’s first wife didn’t have a name. Her death is so important to his character and to the story, yet she remains nameless. There was this woman who had her own dreams and her own life, who died relatively young, losing her child in the process — and she didn’t even deserve to be named? It makes me unreasonably angry…
I’m basically being rage-baited into writing a book about a detective who dies, leaving it to his wife to solve crimes while being sad about it. I would name the main heroine in honour of Mrs Dalgliesh, but she didn’t even have a fucking name to begin with.
My only problem with Bertie Carvel's filmography is that I don’t see any boy-kissing roles.
I neeeed him in some boy-kissing roles… I like my British men a bit fruity.
Simon Foster (Dr. Foster 2015-2017)
Jonathan Strange (Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell 2015)
Adam Dalgliesh (Dalgliesh 2021-2024)
Baelor Breakspear Targaryen (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms 2026)
— played by the talented Bertie Carvel
I can't stop laughing at the fact that Simon's occupation is listed as ‘Adulterer.’
Please don't tell me that the BBC watched all those horny edits with Bertie Carvel and decided to bring Doctor Foster back for a third season.
this show was a traumatic experience
