apparently this blog turned 1 year yesterday and although i havent been doing much on this blog ive actually been actively stanning offline. i have proof & it'll be a surprise later. lol im also obsessed with teenage heartbeat. such a wonderfully put together album (: here's to this year of stanning for stormriver & many more!

These are the 18 Reasons Why I Love Ben (Stormriver) for his 18th Birthday! :~)

And b/c I had technical difficulties the end of the video had to get cut off  (& that's also why this is posted really early) so here's the continued reasons with a little bit more detail:

reason #14 he's mature. and since ive started talking to him ive been amazed that we're not the same age and im older than him. he seems to handle situations better than most adults that i know and im proud of him because most ppl never reach a certain maturity level. i mean he's still young and beautiful but he's still mature enough

reason #15 he gives great advice. i think ive read somewhere that ppl who give great advice arent perfect. they can give great advice because they've struggled themselves maybe in a similar area in which they are advising. that makes me kinda sad since the advice he's given me has helped me during a depressing time and i dont like thinking about my friends including ben being sad before during or after they've become friends with me even tho i know it happens obviously. im just grateful that i can talk to him and he can offer help like a good friend.

reason #16 so this is getting a little more personal. he saved my life on many accounts and im not saying like a singer who's songs have helped me through dark times "saved my life" even though technically he does fit in that category. im saying he was such a great friend that he taught me to finally love myself enough where i didnt want to hurt myself anymore.

reason #17 he's my best friend and he'll always be an influential part of my life b/c he's one of the reasons im still here. and i love him so much and this isnt just me stanning. this is me just being happy he's in my life and i get a chance to talk to him and im glad ive gotten to know him before stormriver and throughout his whole journey

reason #18 it's his birthday so you all should tell him happy birthday because he's now 18. yay!

This is probably the most challenging song i’ve ever done in terms of writing performing and producing it might not even be on the album BUT here is a 30 second snippet of Birds of Paradise !!!

this song is rly fucking long (like 6 minutes) and so to make it more exciting to listen to i’ve trIED to make the last chorus (featured in the second half of snippet) kinda dubstep? HERE’S THE THING IM RLY BAD @ SONG PRODUCTION SO IT DIDNT GO GR8 N THIS IS PROBABLY A DEMO SNIPPET BCUZ I’L HAVE TO COME BACK TO IT but ya i hope u can listen 2 it n be like “wow hes doing a thing" at least anYWAY BACK TO DOIN nothing also i’ll reveal the album artwork sometime next week :~)

This is my cover of StormRiver's Awful World. For the record, I can't sing and there were fireworks going on outside. Also this is the only take where I didn;t sneeze (it looks like I have to sneeze throughout this entire video though lol). Anyway if you ignore the excuses, I really just think you should focus on these awesome lyrics. I hope I didn't mess up the melody too much since I didn't play any music lol Anyway I love this song & you should too.

idk what i’m doing anymore. here’s a song i wrote and recorded last week!!! its called Take Me Home its rly like generic pop n p fun I hope people like it :~) Uh idk what else to say I tried to put more like, excitement into the vocals???? I hope they’ve improved a lil because my personal criticism of my own work is that i sound bored a lot and I tried to change that here so tell me if i did or if there was no difference or anythin I JUST want ppl to like it or even just not hate it that would be cool please listen to it i love u all bye (◠△◠✿)

i have a confession 2 make. every single cover i have ever uploaded since mixcraft has had autotune on it just on a subtler setting so it doesnt sound like a cher song lol. anyway i did this cover of Americano by Lady Gaga and it was gonna be the same but the autotune fucked up and put certain notes where they shouldn’t be so this is like the first time i’ve uploaded a song that’s like final and has legitimately 0 pitch correction. Americano is one of my favourite songs to sing because u can be so dramatic with it so i decided to be dramatic with this i hope ppl like it. (((towards the end it clips and jumps a bit sorry)))
