Ticci toby: so tis is an older drawing but i wanted to share it anyways. im not real into scary stories but i saw lots of ticci toby fanart a while ago i fell in love with his design.

Well i accumulated several ink drawings and now i have been watercoloring them. Pretty fun. Im still pretty new with watercolors so its a learning experience for sure!

Heres another set of ink drawings that i did today. First is Koshek the cat from the podcast Welcome to Nightvale, then a baby bird in a cow pie... Theres a story to that one. Its too long to write but the moral of the story is that "when you are up to your neck in crap, keep your mouth shut, cause it can get worse." and then theres an African woman carrying stuff and a rock guy!

Thousands of tiny frogs! Wow! I xame by this pond 2 weeks ago and saw TONS of tadpoles. Today when I went back they had all turned to frogs! It was incredible how many there were.

I had lots of fun doing some ink drawings yesterday so i did more today! The first is a derpy bird, a big hair lady (NOT MERIDA), a scene from last nights d&d game (my brother drank glowing juice that he found in a wizards study), and a scared guy! Soon as i have a few more of these guys drawn out, my goal is to paint them. I always trip up with color so i figured i should practice some.

Today i just couldnt sleep with out using up some of my creative juices. Ive been itching to draw something all day so to get some drawing out of my system i drew up these. They are indian ink on watercolor paper. A plague doctor, Gorillaz 2d, a army guy and a mermaid. Im feeling a lot better and i tink i can sleep now. But first i had to share!

i know beginner artists are annoyed at the word ‘practice’ being thrown at them by every other artist but i honestly think some of you need to understand the harsh truth. practice is really the only way to improve your art. there are no shortcuts, no tips, no nothing that can turn you into that artist you wanna be. i’m still learning but i knew that frustration well a few months ago. but i had to learn the hard way that i wasn’t going anywhere if i didn’t work. you 👏will👏not👏get👏better👏with👏out👏practice👏 !!!! you will not magically turn into a ‘good’ artist overnight. start working. look up references. study anatomy. practice poses and expressions. PRACTISE
