I decided to cut Behold_the_answer_to_your_prayers_Chapter1ab_Version01 off at "The hard part is over." so that the paragraph break explains the change in my voice from peppy to soulful/sickly and faint. Meanwhile in "ditto" Chapter1ac_Version01 I'm up to 40 seconds in at "He willâŠ"
I actually want to continue editing, but alas, dinner must be cooked, mouthwash mush be bought, and library books must be returned lest they begin to accumulate fines for being over due. Why didn't past me do that for me?! She was SO irresponsible, letting the dark patterns of YouTube keep her trapped.

For the cover art, I cropped a stock photo of a messy desk, then pasted it into LibreOffice Impress, the open source version of MS Powerpoint. I used the 'Vintage' template to get the yellowed paper background.
I decided to do some editing this evening. Then I promptly started scrolling tumblr instead. Finally decided to stare at a wall for one minute and set a timer for 30 minutes. Repeat. Now I am too tired to do any more. Plus I have a headache over my left eye from too much screen time; I'm sure you understand.
I am most proud of my frankenstin edit. I started to say "It may be the chance..." and then cut myself off because I'd said 'be' more like 'bae'. For my second reading, there was a clicking sound in the middle of 'chance'. So I did a copy on the first 'chance', deleted 'chance' from the second line reading, then pasted in 'chance' again. It flows seamlessly. Beautiful.
