Some quick recommendations for anyone going through a heatwave in a usually cold country (from a person that lives in a warm country but doesn't have air conditioning </3)

1. DO NOT OPEN THE WINDOWS/DOORS DURING THE DAY. Open them at night when the temperature is cooler. If you open them during the day you'll just be letting the warm air in, trust.

2. CLOSE CURTAINS AND BLINDS. It will be dark, yes. But it's worth it.

These are the 2 most important tips that I follow like a religion. If you have any more tips, please add them! They will be really appreciated.
