Blue: Errooooor! GOOD MORNING!

Error: Huh?

Blue: Were you staring at the stars all night again?!

Error: Blue, I’m going to fucking kill you if you don’t get lost.

Blue: The feeling’s mutual! The sun is up, the slave is toiling! (learned the phrase from Error)

Blue: I’ll help you wake up.

Error: Just because you have a key doesn't mean you can barge in.

Blue: I’m worried about your health!

Error: I remember how you took care of Dust—dragged the poor guy on a date to the asylum. You two almost got locked up there.

Blue: But it almost worked.

Error: Who’s the villain here—us or you?

Error: One of you is deaf and blind to anything that isn't "good," the second one doesn't give a shit, and the third (you) is a total maniac.

Blue: It’s just that your "evil" team has been so beaten down by life that we (the villains) have to play the heroes.

Error: Ink, by the way, probably won't like the fact that you want to help us.

Blue: Ink isn't really the type to have preferences. But he was definitely against it before the incident with Nightmare.

Blue: By the way, do you know what happened to Nightmare? I'm worried about the rest of the team.

Blue: Just between us, Dream and I are planning to swipe everyone away from Nightmare.

Error: You've got plenty of experience with that.

Error: If that’s the real plan, talk to Horror. He’s got a grudge against the Squid too.

Pages 72–75, Bonus: A day in the life of the star team

Dream: Blue is a close-quarters fighter, and I use blades too. We need to figure out how to close the distance to enemies effectively while Ink covers us.

Dream: We aren't getting on your beasts anymore. We already got thrown off the cheetah.

Ink: But that’s the fastest way.

Blue: Actually... I have an idea.

vroom vroom

Dream: THIS IS A TERRIBLE IDEA

vzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Ink: How about adding wings?

Dream: DON'T YOU DARE!!!

Nightmare: Eliminate them.

Killer: Yes, Boss.

Blue: LLLET'S-

Pages 64–71, Bonus: Dream's Thoughts

Ink and I met a long time ago under rather strange circumstances. He fell on me. Then he apologized and tried to hide my bruise with hats.

Ink was peculiar; he felt very little. Rhythm, for instance—that helped Ink feel "alive." That’s why we danced so often.

Admittedly, our movements were absolutely atrocious. We used to joke about whether Nightmare could feed off our dancing.

Our ultimate goals didn't align, and we soon decided to steer clear of each other. Inka didn't seem to mind at all. He joked, played pranks, and had a good time. He preferred a positive tone, given the long-term potential for interactions that yielded the experience and connections he needed for his own work.

A pragmatist through and through.

At our next meeting, he invited me to Grillby's. I agreed. Later, he asked why I was avoiding him.

That jar of ink has forgotten everything again.

I knew why he was so solicitous toward me: I was a crucial pawn in the preservation of worlds. Yet, I couldn't bring myself to be angry with him. It’s naive, perhaps, but whenever he drank the pigments, I would imagine what he might have been like had he still possessed a soul. A terrible prankster, a bit of a hypocrite—but still full of life, proud, and strong. Maybe even a little too quick-tempered...

I loved that image I held in my mind.

But I always remembered what he was really like—his quirks. I knew that this was the kind of care he needed. And he knew that I knew. He didn’t shatter the illusion of our friendship. For his own benefit, of course, but...

I appreciate it nonetheless.

In the end, I understood why the creators introduced us: so that this idea would cross my mind at the very last moment.

After all, he tore his own soul apart for the sake of freedom, didn't he?

I won't let Nightmare take her.

Glise is annoyed at being portrayed as the bad guy.

Dream helps Ink burn off his emotions.

Night already knows he’s fucking awesome.

Dream found out Ink drank the paint on purpose.

Not only was he late, but he also took a tumble.
