WIP The Neolysian Manu population is miniscule compared to the other species, and even less so now with the given circumstances. A society split in half due to opposing ideals - One half desired to find shelter from the harsh winter elements that plague the East, while the other remained faithful to their leader and wished to aid in the translation of ages past. The cabal that defected headed south to the Grand Vault of Ardoven, and underground city of opportunity, progress, and survivability, hoping fellow Manukind would welcome them in. And while it did, there were signs that it wouldn't last long. This vast underground city was at an imbalance - not everyone had their needs met, such as clean water, proper temperature regulation, and minimum wage pay. The Neolysian people were stuck in the crowded Crevasses of the city.
And worse... the Sherborne Family took notice of them.
Neolysians, native to this planet, were more at home on Enziyama than anyone else, attuned to the lunar energies that raged above as Calamity Storms. In their draconic scales, there were hints of crystalized Atrosite. Natural energy storage units. The Sherbornes made a proposal that the Neolysians couldn't refuse - relocation to the Heart of Ardoven, where living conditions were at premium levels, with the condition that they would work for the Families.
The crucial information left out was HOW life would treat them.
After years of slavery and cruel live testing, a handful of Neolysians escaped with fur discoloured from stress and tails bare from scale extractions. Without their scales, performing Soul Arts would be detrimental to their already poor health. So many were left behind, still tolling their lives away as their non-anthropomorphic ancestors did the previous era.
A rage burned in the hearts of the escapees. Today, they've returned to the gritty depths of Ardoven, repainting their red markings and forging technology that would make their ability use more efficient. The Soul Arts have grown a new branch from the determination of the Neolysians. This group would call themselves "The Resilient".
They have one overall mission in mind - to free the remainder of their people from the darkness of the Grand Vault.
