Not everything. Not every moment in life has a movie counterpart. Although, most do. I don’t know how you can do it. I’d have crazy anxiety if I were you. I’d jump at the sound of anything loud, thinking it were one of my scorned women. 

Eh, I’m used to loud noises. Pretty much all the people I spend time with are loud. If we ain’t screamin’ and hollerin’, something is wrong.

Yeah, it’s a little habit of mine. Avid film lover here. From the classics to horrible campy movies like Total Recall. But you seem pretty at ease, do you deal with screaming women on a daily basis? 

Huh. So, you just relate everythin’ to a movie or what? Not every day, but most of ‘em. Usually the really good ones.

[Strad rolled his eyes and ignored his first comment. It was hard for him not to let a tiny grin slip onto his face again when he saw Scott’s smile. But, he didn’t want to give him the satisfaction. So, he tried to stay as nonchalant and aloof as he could.] For this race? Yeah, probably, dummy. But, we could jack one of the cars and take one of the spots by force if ya really wanna race.

All I keep seeing in my head is the end of Total Recall when the guys head exploded cause he came in contact with Mars atmosphere. And now I’m just spouting random movie references, excuse me.

[Stradlin’s jaw flexed as he thought the offer over. As much as he didn’t want to see Scott’s face right now, or any longer than he had to, he did love the races. And he knew Scott knew that.] Always were a crafty little shit, Curtis. [He shook his head and let out a sigh.] I’m only goin’ ‘cuz we both know how much I like the races.

Not my thing is an understatement. Half of these pictures are of people rockin’ the double chin. And it ain’t flatterin’. The most it’s doin’ is giving me a good laugh. [Strad laughed and patted Skylar on the back.] How are you stickin’ around for this shit show? I know I’ve been here for less than a minute and I’m already tempted to leave.

[She glanced back at the building, having completely forgot where they were and that the girl was wearing her uniform.] Oh, right. [Angel’s eyes lingered over the girl more and traveled down to look at her body. However, it was not in a sexual way, just studying her. As if she was a book and Angel was reading her. When the girl spoke, her head shot up and a nervous blush rushed it’s way up from her neck and covered her cheeks instantly. She ran a hand through her hair to scratch the back of her head awkwardly.] Uh- I- Um. Sorry, I didn’t mean to look. Well, I mean I did but -um not like that. N-Not that there’s anything wr-wrong with looking at y-you like that. [Angel shut her mouth tightly, knowing she probably sounded ridiculous.]

[The girl continued to stare at her and when her head popped up, Rowan tried her best to hold in her laugh. Her bottom lip became trapped in between her teeth while she smiled widely. The nervous behavior being displayed in front of her was oddly cute. With other people, she would see it as a weakness and scoff at it. Yet, Angel made it one of the most adorable things she’s ever seen. After the babbling ended, Rowan chuckled and moved a hand to tuck a strand of the girl’s hair behind her ear. Which, was something she had never done before and had never planned to do as a result of how cheesy she believed the move to be.] Hey, it’s okay. Don’t worry, I shouldn’t have said anything about it. But, I will say this, it was definitely worth it to see you get all flustered and cute. [Rowan took her hand away from the girl and smoked out the rest of the cigarette. Once it was used up, she stomped it out.] You waiting on a car, or what?

You don’t really like to talk much, do you? [Angel watched Rowan smoke curiously. The girl was stunning, there’s no doubt about it. Her dark and mysterious appearance was definitely alluring as well. However, it kind of hurt her feelings that the girl didn’t necessarily want her presence around.]

[Rowan tapped the excess off of the cigarette and rose an eyebrow at Angel’s question.] Not usually around work. [She gestured back to the building she was leaning on as she smoked more. The smaller brunette was staring at her, watching her, leering at her. Rowan didn’t know why, but she wasn’t uncomfortable with it like she normally would be. Exhaling once more, she grinned at the Latina before brushing her hair back.] Like what you see, doll?
