"That's what I like to call Vic, yeah. Rob too if you think about it. Or maybe that's just friendship but they seem to have more of an effect on him than anyone else at the moment." Which he wasn't mad about. He knew someday he would have to let Amory figure out shit on his own. Just like JJ was doing now with Monroe. "Well you're the first person to bring me home to their parents so," he let out a laugh, feeling a little embarrassed about this but it wasn't as if it was a secret that JJ hadn't been a relationship guy for most of his life. "So we'll be nervous together but I'm excited, I want to meet them all." He wasn't someone to shy away from a challenge, especially now. He had been dumb in the past but he liked to believe he had grown enough to know that what he had with Monroe was something really special. Something worth growing up for and being present in. Well that and Flynn had told him that if he fucked it up he'd regret it for the rest of his life. "So what's the vibe for the family party? Fancy? Chic sweaters? PJs?"
"How lucky am I, then?" Monroe let her boyfriend know, now taking the time to serve him some of that charm that he often brought into her life. "I quite honestly couldn't have picked a better first boyfriend to bring back home for the holidays." She reached over, cupping a side of his face as the pad of her thumb ran against his cheek before leaning over to press a kiss to his cheek. "Emphasis on them all. I'm not kidding, I'm quite honestly going to have to grill you on them all. There's like immediate family and then there's mom and dad's chosen family... which includes all of the cousins, one which you already know fairly well." She began, inferring to the man who actually brought them together— Prince. "Oh, we are a PJ's household. I want you know, while there is going to be a dossier you're going to have to learn from front to back... we really are a somewhat chill bunch." Monroe nodded. "Eccentric, make no mistake about it but fairly chill."
