The one who doesn’t care about the rules corrupts the one who cares about the rules to be a little looser with them. “You’re not breaking the rules, you’re just… bending them. For the greater good. You know.”
The one where someone comes to ask them to investigate a murder, and when they ask “whose?” they answer “mine”, Usually followed by a dramatic reveal of loss of hair, a broken vial, etc etc.
The one where the BODy WAkES uP
That guy/girl you kind of like? Yeah, they’re a total murderer.
The one where they get kidnapped at gunpoint.
The one where they get kidnapped, but not at gunpoint.
The one where the killer leaves them messages.
The one where the killer makes it personal.
The one where it is personal because it relates to their tragic backstory.
Did I say “one”? I meant, many. Because that’s a very loose arc in the show. Once every ten episodes or so, it appears.
The one with the serial killer.
The one with another serial killer.
The one with a third–you know what, scratch that. Sometimes, it’s all serial killers.
The one where it turns out to have been a suicide.
The one with the near-death experience.
The one where someone actually dies.
The one with the inside job.
The one with the inside inside job–you know, the inside the agency job.
The one with the bank robbery.
The one with the hostages.
The one where they have 24 hours OR ELSE
