Hol up,, what if he was able to move it as well!? As in, maybe the advancements Shockwave gave Prowl allow him to connect to any database, and just, move it around?? From security cameras, to artillery,, he could fight from a distance! Quietly, but effectively? All sharpshooter like!? 🤨,

Yall,, I’ve got another idea bouncing around over here TuŤ
I keep seeing people taking shots at what a Deception Prowl might look like and,, let’s just say I may have spent an absurd amount of time thinking about it ever since,, 😭🫶
Under cut: Passionate ranting about the logistics of a Deception Prowl
- Many a time I have caught Prowl portrayed as discontent with the way Optimus runs things, stating that he thinks too much with his spark and whatnot, and many a time Prowl has presented Optimus with a plan only for it to get denied because of the numbers and how “detrimental it would be to his frontline soldiers and friends.” Megatron, however, does not have this type of problem, its not a stereotypically Deception way to think for the “little man” and that type of mentality is something Prowl already kinda excels at
- Additionally! With the way Prowl is set up, all of his grievances about working with the Autobots in most other continuities are completely gone?? Because the Deception’s are not encouraged to have feeling or empathy, only to serve and win. With his characteristic flaws,, if you were to put Prowl on the Deception side, he would have the mindset and immorality of Shockwave paired with Soundwave’s battle experience, making him one of, if not, the most important asset of the Deceptions
- He would be so important in fact, that he would probably never get sent to the frontlines, under no circumstance whatsoever would he face autobot fire unless they invaded because of the information he poseses and how important he is as a tactical asset. Making it just that much easier for him to alienate the enemy, and making it just that much more difficult for him to separate the numbers from the lives they represent, because according to Deception code, everyone is expendable [give or take an important few] which means he could theoretically send in as many soldiers as he wants on whatever missions he wants without moral push back if it means Deception victory or complete Autobot obliteration,, and this sort of mentality would be encouraged.
- Another thing! Because Prowl is so important as a tactician I find it easy to assume that he would have access to most of, if not all Deception intel. Functioning essentially as a war machine, Prowl’s importance would be narrowed down to his battle computer and the Deceptions would exploit the living Primus out of it.
- And despite how much I adore the idea of Shockwave and Prowl hating each other, I think it might be interesting if they could realistically bounce their personalities off of each other instead?
- Think about it this way, Shockwave’s reaction to the empurata torture is what Prowl’s battle processor is trying to get him to be. Disconnected, focused on the numbers and percentages alone
- Similarly, Shockwave could preform some pretty nasty modifications on Prowl because its logically for the greater justice, enhancing his battle computer past all conceivable humanity, so much so that there is only a shred of empathy for everybody and anybody he knows. No unreliable, “save face” connections, for it is illogical and all that business.
- With an even further improved battle computer the Deceptions could essentially put Prowl in a room, hook him up to their systems and run his battle computer like an actual piece of machinery. “Prowl, what’s the best way to take this Autobot outpost?”,, “Prowl, what is the quickest way to make sure this general doesn’t see tomorrow?”,, that sort of thing.
- Prowl is not anything to anybody, he is an asset, a machine that will eagerly and effectively ensure Deception victory at every conceivable turn.
- And because he is nothing more than a machine, and is not often [if ever] sent to the frontlines he probably hasn’t set foot outside the Deception bases in literal ages, not taken the time to be somebody because conformity is what is expected, and he enjoys this setup in its entirety because it is the most reasonable,, it is black and white, it is something he can get behind and thoroughly understand. And no one will stop him from thinking this way either.
- No-one is going to tell him to take a break, no one is going to tell him to go into recharge, no one is going to tell him he needs fresh air and nobody is going to tell him he needs hobbies because that is not how the Deceptions work, ergo, he is the shining example of what a Deception should be, no matter how bad he is a fighting because he doesn’t function independently. He doesn’t think disloyally and he doesn’t see the point in existing as anything other than what he is and what he’s being asked to do
- And that is where the fun part starts [Hi Jazz 👋☺️]
- So let’s say the Autobots are getting their aft’s kicked because of course they are? So Optimus sends out his trusted advisor/friend/lieutenant/spy, Jazz to figure out what in the living Primus is going on because as far as the Autobots are aware, [discussed like a ghost story or myth] “Prowl” is just the name some extremely high tech super computer located deep within the Deception bases because of how heavily encrypted the Decepticon’s would make anything regarding Prowl.
- So Jazz sets out and finds out that “Prowl” is in fact a bot, like a living breathing thing? And [slowly] starts trying to integrate himself into Prowl’s life [As Ricochet] to figure out what is going on,, and this is probably the most difficult task of any person ever, because all Prowl really does is sit in a room and spit out numbers, stopping only 3 times a day, twice to refuel, and once to sleep [for a total of 3 hours exactly] Soooo, Ricochet is having some problems lol.
- Eventually he figures that the best way to get to know Prowl is to talk to him like he needs him for tactical intel. [Initially for Autobot gain, but then for personal interest] And slowly steer him into scenarios that test his morality. The two probably never got in a word about each other personally for at least a week of this process, only speaking in hypotheticals or battle tactics
- After about 46 cycles of this, they have gotten to know each other quite a bit and Bing Bing bAng something happens, lol
- Just imagine how cute and twisted something like re-experiencing humanity could be?
- Jazz leading Prowl carefully outside after not having seen the sun in literal years.
- Jazz asking Prowl to focus his holographic battle map on a lil organic, and Prowl just letting him watch it for a couple of clicks cause Jazz thinks its cute
- Jazz playing soft orchestral music at all times once he realizes Prowl likes it [not because he said he likes it, just vibes] and talking about different composers or how the style changes from planet to planet
- Jazz adding some variation to Prowl’s refuels just because he wants to
- Someone just existing near Prowl without any questions, without nagging for his battle computer or even talking about battle at all,, and [slowly] Prowl realizing this is something he never thought he’d have, just silence without the loneliness that comes with it
- But sadly [and dramatically] I can also imagine everything falling apart when Jazz’s time is up, and he needs to either convince Prowl to join the Autobots despite his coding or just, take him offline [because at this point, he could, easily in fact]

I’ve read a few fics of Prowl x Megatron but the only issue is there isn’t many because they don’t interact as much. But I really love how powerful they would be on the same side! With or without the ship lol.
One of them was about Prowl and Megatron having to bond while Optimus and Starscream also have to bond in order to prove peace with the NAILS. Very short but I liked how Prowl and Megs were written in it and how well they could actually bounce ideas back and forth for politics. Prowl strategizing and Megatron being the spokesperson.
I don’t have the name of it right now but I can post it once I find it. However, it shouldn’t be hard given there were like three Prowl x Megatron fics in existence lol

Very big girl! She is a point one percenter who functioned as an Autobot evac vessel during the war. Before the war she was a failed experiment which while be spoken about later on!
Also, this is an older ref! I’m making an updated one soon with better proportions!
Some of my Transformers OCs! They’re set in the IDW universe for now as I slowly fix up their references. My best girl isn’t on here, but will be soon! I’ve recently started using CSP over Procreate so I’ve been going back over my references to practice.
The jet is Cardsharp and the wolf is Vaanyx! They start of as low rank Decepticons but eventually defect and become a bestie trio with my Autobot OC named Hawke.
