18+ Only please or just be mature enough… it’s not like I can stop you…
The sunlight beaming through the window stirred Sasha from her slumber. She hadn't slept this well in she couldn't remember how long. She rolled over to find the other side of the bed cold and empty. A sudden sadness filled her as she realized she was alone. Gathering herself, she stretched and looked around she began running the previous nights events in her mind. The fact that she was now dating, could she say dating?, a sorcerer. She pulled herself from the large comfy bed and saw on the dresser a pile of clothes and a note, it seemed scribbled and must have been Stephen’s writing as it was hard to read. She was now able to confirm that he was a doctor, handwriting and all.
Sasha,
I'm sorry I had to go protect the Sanctum and our reality. I had hoped to be back before you woke up. For that I'm sorry. But please take a shower if you wish, use what you need, these clothes should fit you. Wong should be down on the main level, if you need anything let him know. I hope you can stick around until I get back, it was pure agony to have to leave you in the middle of the night, I would still like to take you home.
Stephen
Looking over the clothes they seemed comfy, there was a pair of loose pants and long sleeved tunic, with a very complicated belt. After taking a long hot shower she changed and left the security of his room. Walking down the hall she called out to Wong.
"I'm in the kitchen come on down, I'm sure you have questions."
She walked down the grand staircase and into the kitchen. Wong was cooking and offered a drink. Snickering “I see Strange already has you dressing like us.”
In response to his offer of food or drink she said "I'll take a cup of tea, Earl Gray if you have it." Sasha smiled.
Handing her the steaming cup she sipped on it for a few minutes, "Wong, can you tell me where he is?"
"Right now not really, probably in the mirror dimension as it doesn't effect our reality..."
"Wong!" The pained call came from the upper floors. "Can you get up here right now?" He said more sarcastically.
"Come on, he sounds hurt. Maybe seeing you will help." Wong grabbed her hand and led Sasha through the Sanctum to where the portal was just closing. Stephen was on the floor on all fours, breathing heavy. He saw two sets of feet and looked up. Her eyes widened when she saw his face and arms were cut and bleeding. His eyes wide not wanting to scare her, "I... I'm fine just a little banged up."
"Hun, that seems more than a little, don't cha think? Do you need help?" She reached down and helped him up with her arm around his back and his arm around her shoulder. "Tell me where to go." He directed her back to his room, where she helped him on the bed.
Wong appeared with alcohol and bandages. "I'll leave these here, let me know if you need anything else. And by the way he is a horrible patient." Giggling he left the room closing the door behind him.
Stephen began undoing his belt and let it fall open on the bed. As she began helping remove the long vest and tunic he grabbed her hand. "Trust me it looks worse than it is." His blue green eyes plead with her to believe him.
"Ok, can you sit up or do you need help?" Sasha asked as she peeled the damp bloody fabric from his skin. A gasp left her mouth "are you sure about that?" She saw a gash along his ribs and down his sternum.
"Yep. Here let me help clean out the wounds..."
Smacking his hands away she said. "No you let me do this you pain in the ass."
"But.. come on Angel let me do something..."
"Darling, please let me take care of you, you take care of the rest of us and no one knows."
Rolling his eyes Stephen relented to allowing her to tend to him. He would not admit it out loud but he really enjoyed her taking care of him. The gentile way she dabbed at the wounds and the care she took in bandaging him. After she checked in with Gina she told her that she would be stopping by later with Dr Hottie to grab stuff she needed for work in the morning. She knew for now that, regardless of what he said Stephen was in pain and needed some rest. She laid with him soothing him by running her fingers through his hair. His head nestled to her chest. And his arms around her waist. Soon enough she heard his breathing soften and even out. It was hard enough to leave the bed, but she still wanted to talk to Wong. Softly closing the door she walked to the kitchen again looking for Wong. Not finding him there Sasha called out to him.
"In the library" he called out. Walking in she could not believe the extensive collection of ancient books. Wong was seated at a table hidden behind a stack of them. "How's the worlds worst patient?"
"Sleeping"
"How did you do that?"
"Magic"
"Not funny, so we never got to your questions earlier.. is that why you're here and not with him?" She nodded "so ask away."
"How long have yous been doing this?"
"Well people like me and Stephen have been guarding the sanctums for centuries here in New York."
"Why have I never heard of you guys?"
"We like to be kept secret."
"You're just a wealth of information aren't ya Wong?" She dead panned.
"Yep. Anything else?"
"Are you just going to keep giving me the same wildly vague answers?"
"Uh-huh"
"Then No if you need me I'll be resting with Stephen." She said rolling her eyes and getting up. She walked back to Stephen's room and smiled when she saw him still soundly asleep. She snuggled back into his embrace and admired his fit body. A short while later he began to wake. Opening his eyes slowly he felt the weight of her in his arms, and tried to suppress a smile.
"You didn't have to wait here, you know." His voice deep and raspy with sleep.
"I know I just wanted to be close to you. You have this sense of peace about you when you sleep, regardless of how beat up you are."
"Thanks, I can't remember the last time I slept this good first last night and just now, normally I have nightmares, sadly I've seen and dealt with some scary things since becoming Sorcerer Supreme. And I have you to thank for it."
He leaned over for a kiss. "But, seeing as you don't want me messing with my wounds can you check them, we may need to change out the bandages."
Sasha happily set to work, when she was done reluctantly she helped him put on a pair of jeans and a v-neck t-shirt, he was still insistent that he would drive her to get her things. Arriving at her apartment she helped him up the stairs, just before unlocking the door he put a spell on himself to mask the injuries. As she opened the door and entered holding his hand behind her Gina rushed over.
"Oooo, are you Doctor Hottie? Because DA-Hmn!"
"Stephen please meet my very subtle roommate Gina. Gina this is Doctor Stephen Strange."
"Very pleased to meet you." Gina said extending her had to him.
"Likewise." Stephen said.
"Look I'm gonna grab my things, Gina be good." Sasha laughed. They sat in the living room and chatted while Sasha grabbed her things quickly, not wanting to leave Stephen to Gina for too long.
She gathered a few days of essentials and stuffed it into a backpack. Saying good night to Gina as she pulled Stephen out of the apartment and back down to his car.
"You know if you forgot anything I can make you a portal to grab it." He said smiling at her.
"Thanks but then Gina's gonna think the place is haunted, although....." she just giggled. "Stephen are you sure you want me to spend so much time at your place? I mean this" indicating both of them"is still new."
"I'm positive, besides I've never had such good after care as what you did earlier, heck you even got me to take a fucking nap... I don't do naps." He kept glancing at her while driving.
"So how am I getting to work in the morning?"
"Oh I'm driving you, I'll drop you off and pick you up. If that's ok?"
"You are awesome" she said as he pulled into the garage, grabbed her bag and opened her door.
"Wong, don't bother me unless it's planet threatening." Stephen called out as they walked to his room.
"Oh, hey, is this going to be a thing now?"
"Yes and no, just part of the week. And maybe most weekends." He leaned down and kissed her deeply.

>>Part One<<
18+ Only please or just be mature enough… it’s not like I can stop you…
It was a beautiful day in New York a rare day off from work and she was walking down the streets of SoHo. Well walking isn't the word, she was practically dancing and singing along with her favorite 80's metal, ear buds in as the afternoon sun shone on her face. She loved walking the streets of her neighborhood, SoHo, it had some of the best vintage clothing shops and most amazing architecture. She especially loved the building on Bleeker St., its' gothic architecture and unusual large circular windows always caught her attention. She stopped and took in the building as Alice Coopers old song Department of Youth came on and she couldn't help but belt out the lyrics, little did she know she had an audience of one.
Leaning against the door frame watching her, a tall lean man with chiseled features and distinctive grey wings in his onyx hair stood. His arms crossed infront of his chest and a slight smile on his face. It wasn't the first time he had seen her in the neighborhood, but it was the first time he heard her singing. He pushed off the wall, finally gathering the courage, and walked over to her. Knowing the song was about to end, he spoke "Alice Cooper, Department of Youth, Welcome to my Nightmare, 1975."
"Huh, what? Shit dude you scared me." She said taking out one of the ear buds.
"Sorry, I like that song too, not many people know it. I didn't mean to scare you, I've seen you looking at my home a lot."
"Sorry, I just love those round windows."
"Thanks" he was wringing his hands "Stephen" he said by way of introduction.
"Oh, nice to meet you Stephen, Sasha." She said reaching out to shake hands.
"Sorry, I don't shake hands..."
"S'Ok, wait did you say you LIVE here?"
"Yeah, me and my.. uh.. roommate and colleague. Look, I don't usually do this, asking random women on the street, but, would you have dinner with me tonight?"
"Umm how do I know you're not some weirdo claiming to live here? And going to whisk me away and kill me in a basement?"
"I assure you I have no intentions on that, do you want to see my driver's license?"
" Yeah"
Reaching into his pocket he pulled out the card and handed it to her. "Dr. Stephen STRANGE? You have to be the luckiest person ever, that’s so cool.. it does explain your knowledge of Alice Cooper." She give him a small smile.
His heart now filling with hope, still berating himself over stumbling over his words, he chucked at her amazement. "Ok so now that we have my identity taken care of, what do you say to dinner?"
"I guess so..."
"How do you feel about Japanese?"
"Yes," her eyes lit up
"Great how about you meet me here at say seven and I'll take you to the most amazing Sushi in the area Omen Azen?"
"You got it, I can't wait, you got a pen?" She asked.
Out of sight he opened a portal and grabbed a pen, handing it off to her. She went to take his arm then stopping as she remembered he didn’t shake hands. “Is..is it ok if I put my number on your arm?”
“Yeah, that’s fine” he replied with a grin. He put out his arm for her. He relished in the electricity that shot from her fingers as they brushed against his forearm. She didn’t even register the scars littering his arm. Smiling as she finished and handed him back the pen. “Incase you change your mind that’s my number. Hope to see you at seven, Stephen.” She called over her shoulder. She walked off putting the ear bud back in and continued singing down the street.
Stephen walked into the Sanctum, smirking at his arm. Wong and the cloak of levitation waiting in the foyer for him. "What was that?" Asked Wong
"I just actually asked her out on a date. Now I'm second guessing it, what's she going to say when she sees the scars? Wong what did I do?"
"I think it's great you asked her out finally, honestly you were starting to boarder on stalking. You've been eyeing her up every time she walks by the Sanctum. Go relax take your time and get ready. I'll watch over the Sanctum." Said Wong. The cloak resting on Stephen's shoulders levitated him to the study.
Sasha walked through the door of her apartment, Gina her best friend and roommate greeted her "hey, what's up with you? Oh no, what did you do?"
"I met the guy who lives in that amazing place on Bleeker, and we're going on a date tonight. Gina he's a freaking Dr. And Hottttttt." She dragged out the last letter.
"Wait that’s a house? I thought it was a library, huh. So what does Dr Hottie look like? And maybe does he have a name?"
"Shit what am I going to wear I only have a few hours to get ready.. ok so he's like 6 foot, black hair, chiseled face, Gina he can cut through glass with his cheekbones, and has these amazing blue green eyes. Oh and Dr Hottie, get this, I swear I can't make this up his name is Dr. Stephen Strange. Oooooo, I should google him to see what kind of Dr he is. Oh and we're going to Omen Azen tonight. Help me find something to wear."
After showering and putting on a little black dress while Gina was styling her hair she finally remembered to google the good Dr.
"Holy shit, he's a neurosurgeon, that explains the house... oh nooo..."
"That didn't sound promising, what is he married?"
"No, it says here a few years back he was in a major car accident, and from injuries sustained he is no longer practicing medicine. That explains why he didn't want to shake hands, he must have hurt them in the accident."
"Well I would just ignore it and if he wants to talk about it let him bring it up. There what do you think?"
Standing and looked into the full length mirror she smiled, her favorite little black dress hugged all of her curves perfectly, her low heels gave her more height, and Gina's makeup and hair made her practically glow. "I guess it's time for me to meet him. Wish me luck and keep an eye on me on Find my friends, you know incase he's not the person he claims to be." Grabbing a small purse and throwing a few things in, she reminded Gina to not wait up.
