I saw a YouTube short where it was explaining why 2022 was the worst year for K-pop (which I don’t agree with) and one of the reasons was because Garam got kicked out of Le Serafim GURL we didn’t have enough to get to know her for us to feel bad 😭 but maybe that’s just opinion idk

Not saying I agree with that video about 2022 being the worst year of Kpop - we have seen way worst. But I also don’t think you need to know someone for 7 years to feel bad or have sympathy for them. This girl was given the cold shoulder while still in the group. Bullied by the entire Kpop community on every platform for months even after she was kicked out. Being accused of sleeping with Hybe executives, saying she can now become a bar girl and way worse. All this happened when she was just 16 years old. It was not justified. I think the Kpop community loves to underplay their role in her harassment by saying she wasn’t in the group for long time like that somehow makes the harassment okay. Just because she wasn’t there for a long time doesn’t mean she deserved the magnitude of hate thrown at her globally.

I did not know all that 😟 glad we can agree 2022 isn’t the worse year for K-Pop. Maybe it’s because I only heard what I was told but I only knew she was getting bullied on every platform and frankly, I didn’t care, mainly because her bullying scandals (at least from what I know) have not had any evidence supporting that she was innocent and I never truly care about K-pop scandals until it involves idols I stan. Also, I didn’t really and still don’t care about LESERAFIM so I didn’t understand the severity of it (I feel like I’m repeating myself). I do agree with the K-pop community downplaying their role in harassment though, because we are the main harassers in almost every k-pop scandal. Basically, thank you for telling me this. In case if there was any misunderstanding, I don’t avidly hate on Garam or take time out of my day to spread hate or harass any k-pop idols I was just simply stating that, for me personally, it’s hard to feel pity for her because even I did eventually get into LESERAFIM she would’ve already been gone and that I feel like that youtuber was over exaggerating and Garam leaving isn’t really a reason for 2022 to be the worst year for K-pop. I LOVED THIS CONVERSATION THO 🤩✨ am I being insensitive about the situation?
