Wonjae pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead as you snored softly on his mattress. He wanted to sleep, he really did, but when he was with you he felt so alive and inspired. He felt a need to write. You were his muse, you have been since the two of you met. Wonjae tried to be as quiet as possible as he looked for his notebook, knowing you’d wake up the moment he rose from the bed. Luckily, he grew into the habit of leaving it tucked into the frame of the bed due to the frequency of your sleepovers. He began writing, his heart swelling with the immense feeling of love while with you. He felt secure, like his crazy and busy life was all worth something and he wasn’t just wasting his time. Life was worth living when he was with you.
“Wonjae,” His eyes land on you where you look up at him. He frowns, knowing he might’ve woke you up by sitting up. “are you writing?”
He smiles and nods, setting the notebook to the side.
“What about?” You question, smiling when he tucks your hair out of your face with his finger tips.
“Why?” You giggle, unaware of the light you are in his life.
“Because you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
