Hi fun fact, colors do have meaning and there is a legit thing called color theory. Red does has more positive connotations than negative like the @mintymaiden said. Red is associated with more love, lust, passion than blood and death just like the chart shows you but If you want, here’s a link for you to check it out yourself. I like that the presumption here is that “No One On Tumblr Has Heard of Color Theory, Let Me Explain in Depth” rather than simply acknowledging that the VISUAL EFFECTS of this particular color choice, applied in the manner it was, can still amount to “this is a hospital and that looks like blood”

like, color theory doesn’t exist in a vacuum. If your design of choice for Blood Red Paint is asymmetric splatters and sploches against the wall, or in this case, a snail trail on the hallway’s floor, an infographic won’t override the viewers’ instinct.

i’m gonna write an adaptation of interview with the vampire but instead of it being a journalist actually tracking down louis, it’s a true crime podcast. like the hosts don’t have any actual interviews with louis, they don’t have a single primary source. it’s just 2 white women going “yeah so we did some digging and like.. a lot of weird shit happened in new orleans in the 1910s. and a lot of it can be traced back to the most eccentric gay couple on the block. anyway today’s episode is sponsored by hello fresh.”

Over Thanksgiving, my in-laws were concerned about dog hair when they caught my toddler repeatedly setting her apple the on floor and then picking it back up to eat it. So I told them about the time she surprised me by suddenly figuring out how to unlock and open the diaper pail, pulled something out of it and, before I could get to her, popped it in her mouth. By the time I was on her, prying her mouth open, it was gone. I don’t know what it was and it’s probably better that way.

Anyway, they stopped bringing it up. 😂
