alr, i have seen someone on here giving tips on what to say so you wouldnt be forced to eat, so im here to give you my tips on how to stage dirty plates/ bowls, etc.
One of my favorites is pancakes- leaves a sweet scent around so that its more believable that you actually made them.
-just a tiny bit of flour
-cinnamon, vanilla extract, anything that will leave a strong, sweet scent
you mix it together until you have a small portion of batter, you should only make enough for like one pancake so that you don’t waste food, and just spread it on the pan. its not exactly edible, so you should just throw it out or leave it on a plate so that it looks like leftovers. also, you can dip a spoon/knife in some kind of topping to make it look like you actually ate that.
i usually just mix a bit of tap water with white/cream paint and i somehow always have some dry, old cereal laying around in the cupboard so i just throw some of that in and leave it so that it also looks like leftovers.
and now just an overall tip on how to make dishes look like you ate:
you have to get creative with it, so make any kind of sauce out of anything (paint, water, spices, oils, seeds, dried vegetables), throw on top some sesame seeds, leafy greens, anything that will make it believeable. sprinkle a bit of it on the plate, move it around and dip a fork/spoon in it so that it looks good enough. That’s literally it.
also, if someone asks what you ate- make sure you have a whole meal prepared in your head. ingredients, spices, how it tastes like, all of that.
