Okay like the murder community pisses me off Like i’m interested in the history/psychology of the members of the ss in nazi germany and all but like this whole thing where everyone’s like ‘he was a POOR PERSON who was PUSHED OVER THE EDGE’ is total bs like???? i’ve been wanting to delete my account for a while, but i might as well respond to this first, now that i know how the lifting community views the true crime community. i like both, and no, i don’t support or condone murder. and this is not a racial issue at all. richard ramirez, probably the second or third most admired killer by the true crime community (the columbine killers being the first) was a person of color! so was the virginia tech shooter, and so was elliot rodger, and many others i’m sure. despite many people thinking that people in the true crime community are white supremacists or something, i’ve literally met one person who was racist, i’m not even kidding or exaggerating. everyone else is very, very against racism.
(rarely) some people in the true crime community condone the killer’s actions, but none claim that they were a “good person”! that’s total fucking bullshit. they recognize that what they did was horribly and typically feel and express remorse for the victims and they’re families.
a very common occurrence of people in the true crime community is that they are hybristophilliacs. which is basically the attraction to someone who commits some type of crime. that’s one of the main reasons that these people admire these killers, and why they have the illusion that the killers might like them, but it’s usually just a fantasy and they realize that the killers wouldn’t actually like them or fall in love with them.
also lifters are in no place to hate on the “murder” community, when we literally commit crimes and glorify others for doing it, and they just talk about cute serial killers. well whatever, this is a mess. and again, i’ve been wanting to delete for a while because everyone in this community is a social justice warrior, and i’m the exact opposite so i hate seeing it in my feed. but yeah, sorry for the rant, and keep lifting if you want, i’m not suddenly against it or anything lol. deleting tomorrow.

It also pisses me off when people automatically shit all over us because we know about a lot about serial killers. NYX stuff has sold really well for me! As for walmart, basically any unopened makeup will sell pretty quick if you sell it for cheap enough. Like I sold some revlon glosses for like $20 even though there were like 12 of them. So it’s a hella good deal for the buyer, and pure profit for you!

Target tips
First off you need to know the stores shoplifting policy
how they look for shoplifters are by these points
Watch for suspicious behavior(s) from customers.
1. Is (are) the customer(s) wearing heavy bulky clothing even though the weather is good?
2. Is the customer constantly looking behind, left or right, or above as if to see if anyone, or anything, is watching?
3. Is a group of customers acting in a boisterous manner as if to call attention to themselves?
4. Is a customer spending an inordinate amount of time looking at the same relatively high priced merchandise?
5. Is a customer seemingly resentful or uneasy when a sales associate asks if they can assist? Make mental and/or written notes, including descriptions, of any of the conditions noted above. Report any of the above conditions to store management or the shift shoplifting “expert.”
the steps they follow in order to approach you
1. You must see the shoplifter approach your merchandise or enter your store without any merchandise in their hand(s). This prevents the scenario of falsely detaining a customer who carried an item to be returned or exchanged into your store.
2. You must see the customer select your merchandise. If you can say without doubt that you saw the customer pick up your merchandise before putting it into a pocket or otherwise concealing it, you again protect yourself from that false arrest claim as in #1.
3. You must see the shoplifter conceal, carry away or convert the merchandise in question. Concealment can be in pockets, in shopping bags, in a child’s stroller. It can even be accomplished in full view as in when tags are removed from articles of clothing. A good example of conversion is a shoplifter eating food before paying for it. In some, BUT NOT ALL, states, this step is enough to constitute shoplifting.
4. In most states, at this point, you must maintain continuous surveillance of the suspect. You must comply with this step in the strictest sense.
5. You must see the shoplifter fail to pay for the stolen merchandise. Sometimes the thief will walk directly out of the store, but sometimes they will pay for some items but not the concealed one. It is important to see that the concealed item is not retrieved and paid for. There are all sorts of pitfalls for the merchant in this step. Examples – the person concealing or converting a candy bar pays for it along with other items at checkout, the person pays for cigarettes or a newspaper at the cashier and then picks up the item between the cashier stand and the door on his/her way out. As a double check, ask the cashier if the specific item(s) has/have been paid for.
6. You must see the shoplifter leave the store. Your approach to the thief should be outside the store. This eliminates all arguments that the shoplifter intended to pay for the item(s).
this is the script they use
1. Suggested script guideline – “Sir/Ma’am – I am with ABC Pharmacy and I’ve been observing you. Perhaps I’m mistaken, but do you have something in your purse/wallet/coat that you haven’t paid for? Would you please accompany me back into the store so we can clear this matter up?”
2. Alternative script – “Hello, I’m with ABC Pharmacy, could I speak to you about the merchandise in your coat/purse/bag? Would you please accompany me back into the store?”
The Do’s and Don'ts
Don’t~ wear super baggy pants or shirts, its sus and people will judge you because of that.
Do~ wear a Classic outfit that says “I can afford to buy everything in this store”
Don’t~ Act nervous and stare at the employees , that will surely get you caught
Do~Act like you own the place but not in a obnoxious way.
Don’t~ walk super fast into the dressing room to avoid having your merch counted.
Do~ casually stroll into the dressing room when the employee is too busy to count or has left the counter for a moment.(if you do get counted just give him\her your items and them go into the dressing room,leave with one item and say its the wrong size and you wish to put it back and get the preferable size. then pick up more items on the way and go back in, while hiding them under the one item you walked out with. they won’t look twice.)
Don’t~ conceal on camera, Target has some phony cameras but some are real and track your every move.
Do~ Conceal in a blind spot, Look for the areas for no cameras with your eyes not your head(less noticeable) if you cant seem to find one walk into the bathroom when no one sees and conceal.
Don’t~ lift expensive items without looking for soft tags or others type of tags.
Do~ always expect there will be some sort of tag on a pricey item.( but on less pricey items there are only bar-codes Which do not beep!)
Signs that LP are watching
-LP are usually dressed like regular shoppers.
-If you hear someone being called on a radio or a loud speaker because of an “Emergency” or “immediately” Get your ass out of there, its code for Sus activity or chances are a LP saw you conceal merch. sometimes that’s not the case but you wan’t to be smart and assume it is.
-If an employee asks if you need help numerous times and wont leave you alone. sometime with remarks like " do you need a basket to hold that stack of jeans in your bag?“ ” those Items in your bag must be heavy, would you like me to help you carry them? FUCKING GET OUT OF THERE, drop your stuff and exit the store.
- If you see people looking at you or make allot of eye contact with you, that means they are on to you, book your ass out of there.
- if you see the same person following you, Chances are its a LP, leave immediately.
-LP have a mic and a bluetooth in their ear.
