The body of 18 year old Nolan Xavier Wells has unfortunately been found after he went missing from Horn Island, Mississippi. Wells went boating with a group of boys — the rest of the party being white — on July 4th, but he was the only one who didn’t return to shore.

It is becoming increasingly dangerous to be the only black person in a group. Rest in peace, Nolan. You deserve justice.

Update:

I’ve found his family’s GoFundMe for his funeral and celebration of life expenses. This campaign was created by their family friend Allayah Denis and is the only campaign they have, all others are fraudulent. They haven’t reached their goal yet, and funeral expenses are an incredible burden, so if you have the means please consider donating.

Finally watched The Immortal Man. It was fine. I liked the music. Though I didn’t feel much of a connection, perhaps it’s because I don’t really have much interest in Duke as a character. I will say, damn you, Steven Knight, for giving a lot of the women in Peaky Blinders the short end of the stick.

Fett's Working Cures and Todd L. Savitt's Medicine and Slavery are seminal histories of antebellum medicine that discuss research issues, but not exclusively.

A few scholars have devoted books to research with Blacks abroad, such as Clarence Lusane's fine Hitler's Black Victims, Wolfgang U. Eckart's Medizin und Kolonialimperialismus, on medical colonization in Germany's African holdings, and Jan-Bart Gewald's Herero Heroes, on the German medical abuse of Namibia' Herero people."

Tried a pilates class today. It was fun but definitely not for a beginner or someone who has bad joints like me lol (I should of grabbed a few foam blocks). The class was focused on strengthening the arms, legs, core, and glutes.

I need to get a new kindle. Mine is really old and was my father’s kindle before it became mine. My kindle can’t even sync anymore lol. I looked to see how much I could get if I traded it for a new one and it’s only worth $5 lol. I don’t need a fancy kindle or anything so I’ll probably try to find a newer second hand one or something.
