"What an interesting hair color. Do tell me, is that natural?” If anything, it was unique. Pink. Yveltal didn’t care much for an answer, but it would be an amusing way to pass the time. He’d been bored for a total of fifteen minutes. In others words; forever.

III blinked, his searching focus broken by a quite random question from an equally random stranger.  What a thing to ask someone.  And before any sort of introduction.  He was sure his face was showing exactly those thoughts as he slowly glanced up at the person.  "It's natural," he answered after a pause.  "I'm sorry-- you are...?"

"I see that Fusions monsters are still summoned around here. Tell me, have you by chance heard about Synchro Summoning?"

"Synchro…?"  III tilted his head with a bit of a confused stare.  Rather… interesting attire aside, the summoning method the stranger was asking about had him curious.  A duelist himself and with a brother who was largely central to the dueling world, he wouldn’t have thought there was something as big as a type of summoning he wouldn’t know about, even if it were new.  III shook his head.  "I’m sorry.  I can’t say I’ve ever heard of it before.  Would you mind telling me what it is you’re talking about?"

"Where should I start… Well, first things first, I should probably introduce myself. I’m not from around here. To be exact, I’m a Duel Monster Spirit, a card made manifest and able to walk along side the inhabitants of your world.

I’m trying to gather enough energy to go back home through a force called Momentum or what most people from where I come from know it as Ener-D. This force is produced by something called a ‘Synchro Summon’, where a special monster called a ‘Tuner’ combines with regular monsters in order to summon a special monster, a ‘Synchro’. Unfortunately, nobody I’ve spied on— I mean witnessed, ever attempted a Synchro Summon.

I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Daigusto Sphreez. Most of my friends call me Reeze. I’m a Synchro monster. May I ask your name?”

*extends hand outward, asking for a handshake*

Well, that was a bit of a load and a half to absorb.  III took a moment, trying to keep the pile of new terms straight.  He'd never heard of any of it, but he couldn't see any sign of lying from the being-- other than the poorly covered up slip, of course, but he let that one slide.

Deciding he could trust her, at least to some extent, III accepted the offered handshake.

"You can call me III.  And the reason you haven't been able to find anyone using this Synchro Summon is because, at least here, no such thing exists.  Nor do those Tuners, to even attempt it..." III's words drifted to silence as he pressed a knuckle to his lower lip thoughtfully.  "...Though... If you're a Synchro yourself, I may know people who could try and find a hint through you to get the energy you need to return."

IV, of course, was not going to let anyone bother his little brother without recourse. He pulled III close against him and glared daggers down at the other party until they left the youngest Arclight alone, horrified at the threat that the elder brother posed.

III blinked at suddenly being pulled, but the instant familiarity eased any worry it was another forward stranger before it could even start.  With his older brother there for him now, the situation was taken care of.  Just like when they were younger.  ”Thank you, Nii-sama,” he murmured with an affectionate nuzzle.

The sudden intervening assault made III jump a little, but he had no time for anything else before he was scooped up and carried off.

"Y-Yuma, you shouldn’t just—  I’m grateful for you helping me, but I hate to think of something happening to you should they try to get even for something like that," his tone is lightly scolding as he frowns with worry.
