Uuugh I want to regress again so bad but I feel a disconnection, like I don't remember how to anymore

I have no where else to talk about this so uh, nothing bad but not a normal post

I haven't properly regressed in like, a year and haven't had the time or really the need to i guess. The problem is that this time a year brings back bad memories and seasonal depression, and a whole bunch of new stress factors are in my life. I can feel my brain trying to slip constantly and im crying over everything. I can tell my body is trying to force me to relax but I can't let myself.

I live with my girlfriend now, and she knows I regress but I can't bring myself to do it any a space where she can see me. We work the same job with mostly the same hours, so I don't have time alone.

I hate my only "reliable" coping mechanism being so embarrassing to me that I can't use it
