There’s something really special about Link. Occasionally I see a comment or post about him and I cringe a little, because I think sometimes people portray him as this vision of sweetness and angelic light who floats through life helping little old ladies cross the sidewalk or something. Link is not particularly sweet most of the time. He’s impatient. He’s demanding. He has a short fuse. He’s sarcastic. Yes he also seems caring and soft and lots of other good things, but I wouldn’t like him nearly as much if he was some kind of perfect man.

But he does have this special quality at times in the way that he is able to give so much of his heart over to the audience. I guess it happens the most in ear biscuits, when he shares how he’s feeling or tells a story about himself that feels a little too vulnerable. Or even when everything was shitty about the reaction surrounding the extended length gmm episodes and Rhett was hurting a lot and angry and Link just took it all in. He almost always takes everything with a lot of grace and good humor.

Today, even though for him most of this episode had to be really freaking weird, he put his whole little heart into that entire 23 minutes. He was funny as hell. He did the voices. He played up all the lines. He was genuine. He laughed a lot. He did it all with grace and good humor.

He’s a really special guy.

I 100% believe that Rhett views his relationship with Link and the life they’ve lived together as romantic. Link can try all he wants to call it cinematic, but an action movie or a documentary on pine trees can be cinematic. Rhett and Link is a love story.

i dont post much on here but as someone who has written fics in the past (and is actually working on one right now) i would be absolutely terrified if they ever read one of my dirtier fics!!! and i know the authors from todays fics are a little shaken up but rhett and link + the crew only had good intentions, they werent making fun of anything they were just trying to read something about themselves and they just so happen to chose some of your fics BUT ITS OKAY!!!! THEY CHOSE UR FICS BC UR BRAVE AND PROUD ENOUGH TO POST YOUR WORK!!! ur all talented and todays gmm shouldnt have u thinking any less
