it's my first day at film school. everyone's introducing themselves and they come to me. "what brought you to film school," they ask. "i just love mobies", i say. i throw my hand over my mouth in shock at my error but it's too late. everyone heard it. the fellow students swarm over me as one body and pin me down. the professor sighs, removes his shoes, takes off a single argyle sock of mid-calf length, and pulls a gilded statuette - his Oscar for Best Sound Mixing - out of a locked drawer in his desk, then puts it into the sock and knots off the top.
