Introduction

Hello everyone! This is @marshmallow-icing-swirl 's semi-canon divergent warrior cat design blog which features my own interpretations of the characters. This blog is a fun side project I work on in my spare time to progress my art skills.

I loosely upload cat designs in the order of the arcs they first appear in. I am not planning on drawing any cats from the Dawn of The Clans era or from the Tribe of Rushing Water.

Feel free to send an ask anytime if you want to hear about my headcanons for any of the cats I have designed so far.

You are welcome to request redraws for cats I have previously only drawn with colored backgrounds. For example, Cinderpelt or Violetshine.

If any of my designs appear uncomfortably saturated, let me know and I will tag them with #eye strain content warning.

Please ask for permission first if you would like to use my designs and provide credit by linking to either this account or my main Tumblr blog.

Now that Art Fight and my summer classes are over, I will resume posting warrior cat designs again this month! Please send me wc design requests if there are any cats you are interested in seeing. Since I was only able to draw one pride icon this June, you can also request which wc you would like to see featured alongside my pride headcanon icons.

what are some of your favorite warrior names?

Curlfeather, Frostdawn, Leafdapple, Icecloud, Squirrelflight, Echosong, Lilyheart, Brightheart, and Morningflower are some of my favorite names! I enjoy names that can envoke strong imagery and/or have personal meaning to a character.

Hiiiiiiii Morning :D Thank you so much!!! <3 Your kind words in the tags of my designs mean a lot to me and always bring a smile to my face when I see them.

The top designs that come to mind for me are Dovewing, Bristlefrost, Hollyleaf, Shadowsight, and Spotfur. I enjoy drawing cats who are fluffy and/or a little fantastical!

I think that Spottedleaf has the design process that I've had the most fun with so far...she was designed after I leaf I found while walking to class!

Hello everyone! Design uploads are going to slow to a crawl as the end of my grad school semester approaches.

I'm hoping to find time to draw again before the summer semester starts. I will likely not be posting designs during Art Fight season again this year so I can devote my free time to particpating.
