2010's ➕ Romeo and Juliet AU... for Fugio...

The designs for them aren't exactly final but I have a concept on how the AU could go. It takes place in the US, around the 2010's. (Still unsure on which state or what exact year)

Dio and Diavolo are both close associates - Dio is a crooked lawyer and Diavolo just has several shady businesses that are obviously linked to crime. Bruno and Abbacchio formerly worked under Diavolo but left when they realized this life wasn't for them. Also, Bruno wanted to take care of Trish since she was being neglected by her father.

Bruno and Abbacchio adopted Trish after leaving amicably. (Surprising, I know. But it's probably because Diavolo wanted Trish out of his life.) Bruno and Abbacchio adopted two more children, Narancia and Fugo not too long after. Mista was welcomed into the home since he was looking for a place to stay after getting into an argument with his father. (Yes, Hol Horse.) Bruno, Abbacchio and the kids become a typical middle class family that gets along from time to time.

Meanwhile, Dio and his children live in a wealthy neighborhood in a large mansion. Giorno and his brothers are all emotionally neglected by Dio but are gifted weekly with money, valuables, etc. Vanilla is more of the present parent and actually handles housework, bills and everything else. Giorno and Fugo are unaware of the tension between their two families, since no one ever told them. Until Trish tells Fugo and Donatello tells Giorno.

Fugo doesn't care and still wants to be with Giorno (Similar to how Romeo was.) IDK GUYS I JUST CAME UP WITH THIS STORY RN AS IM WRITING IT
