Life update time! I'm still working on projects! Let me show you:
So, I ran out of green on my cardigan so that is. 😂 Once again on hold. So I started working on a project for a sweater vest top in this super expensive and very comfortable yarn that I also ran out of yarn for. No surprises there, though. Since it's so expensive we can't buy a lot at once.
I think it's coming out really pretty so far! I love the colors on this yarn. :)
We also had our Halloween party, and it was a ton of fun! I think I mentioned it before, but I did a nostalgic 90s kiddie Halloween theme, and I made construction paper decorations for our interior!
And I made dirt cups and green punch! They were out of the Pillsbury Halloween cookies when we went to go buy them. ;-; But! My mom saved the day and we got cookies and cupcakes instead!
I also made ham and cheese sliders and witch's brew stew to go with our sweet treats~
And then we played board games and traded gift baskets~ One of my presents was the Castle Party, so we actually got to play two very themed board games for the night!
And I've also been hard at work on the little mousey~ I've finished her bloomers and got her tail on, and now I'm working on her dress. :)
She's coming along quite nicely.
And!!! Yesterday, Spouse and I finally got around to finishing up that picture frame for my Barry Sloane signed print!
I'm so so proud of how it came out! I. =v=;;; I misspelled Price's name in the CPT- number. I forgot the i. OTL Now his name reads like a license plate: CPTPRCE. Still, maybe that's a good thing because that number barely fit. But I'm still super proud of it and how it looks like a beat up, scorched old ammo crate. :)c
We also hid Price's serial number on the back of the frame! Like a secret password~
All in all, I'm super happy with how it came out, and I can't wait to get it hung up on the wall.
Aaaand also! I got a new pet! Well, I mean. We have collectively gotten a few new pets, but three of those are tarantulas, so I'm worried about posting them. ^^;;; I know a lot of people don't like them. But I think they're really cute! And they all three have been through a molt with us! :) they're doing great!
And as for me, I got this beautiful baby girl:
She was only listed as an "albino leopard gecko", so I don't know her exact morph or genetics. But that isn't actually all that important to me anyway, so I don't mind not knowing. She is a gorgeous, currently grumpy little lady, and I've named her Scintilly.
Right now she's okay with handling, but she seems to be in brumation, so that may be why she is acting so chill. I'm keeping a close eye on her weight to make sure she stays healthy, but so far she's doing really well. Her viv is fairly bare minimum right now, but we're trying to work her up into her best enclosure as the year goes on. :)
And I think that's about it! I might make a separate post about the tarantulas if anyone would like to see those, but otherwise I'll probably just keep pictures to myself sksksk. I love them, though. They're all good babies and so so easy to keep.
Also I'm trying to talk Spouse into replaying the COD games so I can watch and brush up on that lore sndkekwn shhh don't tell them
