A very nice part of being a fairly strong lady is getting to physically pick up other women
DOUBLY SO FOR TALL GIRLS. I can't believe I forgot to mention this. It is SO important that you make them feel light and small and cared for, okay?
30 year old therian dog lady who loves cuddles but feels too big for them? Lift her up held against your chest like she's still a puppy. Tall self conscious tgirl who thinks her height makes her monstrous? You need to toss her over your shoulder and make her feel weak and little and safe as you take her back to your room. Big *scary* lesbian that isn't used to being warmly loved? Hug her, and when you do, lift her up and bear her weight. Bring her higher, because she is the sun.
I met this really cute 6'4 (probably an egg) friend of a friend recently who was wearing a dress for the first time. beautiful dress, beautiful makeup, shy but smiling. We were at a party with a little photo spot we had hastily set up earlier since everyone was dolled up nice, and I convinced them to take some pictures with me. For the last one, I asked if they would let me put them in a bridal carry and they said that would be fun. It wasn't easy but I got them off the ground and we had a friend take our picture. After that, they got a bit shy and then a couple of minutes later, they timidly asked me how I knew I was trans. They asked what it was like, and if it was scary, and how people reacted. Those were the same questions I would have asked 3 years ago. It really touched my heart. Be the change you want to see. Go lift women.
omg did you guys hear the latest announcement
so what if we took this simple appealing logo that not only uses our iconic map pin icon, but utilizes our brand colors in a pattern evocative of roads on a map and replaced it with the late 2000s mac rainbow pinwheel after an incident involving a hole punch
they straight up fucked her till she gaped and her makup was smeared,
these are getting weird
quirky fourth wall breaking character but theyre just fucking. wrong about the medium theyre in. they keep making references to cinematic techniques and directorial styles and the other fourth wall breaking character is like "dumbass we're in a fucking comic book" and they are in a video game.
Hey, you, cis girl that's very (correctly) vocal about women being allowed to talk about their periods, do you include trans women in that?
I ask because every single time I've tried to talk about it to anyone that isn't a trans woman they get fucking angry. Which has caused me to have to just suffer in silence every single month. So I really relate to cis women when they talk about literally the exact same thing; being shamed by everyone around them their whole lives for talking about their periods, so they just suffer in silence every month as it negatively impacts their work and social lives. But I don't even feel like I can voice that I am literally dealing with the same exact thing because most of y'all react like you want to throw me in front of a bus for saying it, even those of you who act like your such big great transfem allies.
Was driving with my grandmother and in broken English she says “no eyes… no nose… no face. Don’t trust.” To which I looked around wildly in search of this omen of ill portend.
Cybertruck. It was a cybertruck.
okay, you know what? Running away shouldn’t be a crime. It shouldn’t be dangerous, either. Any kid should be able to leave their parents if they want, for any reason. No I’m not kidding.
“But Rue, where will these kids stay? Do you want them on the streets?”
of course not. In an ideal world, a kids would have multiple adults other than their parents they could look to for care, but I recognize that that will never be a reality for every single child. So: youth shelters, if they have nowhere else to go. There should be clean, warm shelters where anyone under 18 can stay for as long as they need, no questions asked. (And of course shelters that aren’t just for kids, but we’re talking about youth rights right now)
“But Rue,” I hear you say, “what if some moody teenager runs away after an argument?”
First of all, I’d rather a thousand moody teenagers run away than one abused child be trapped. Second, so what if one does? A kid needs time away from their parents, so they leave. The vast majority of them will get some time to cool down and then go back home, and if they don’t want to go back, period? Then nine times out of ten, they have a good reason. (Because yes, as hard as it is for you to believe, kids are humans who have common sense.)
“Okay, but what about the one time out of ten the kid doesn’t have a good reason?”
Then the kid doesn’t have a good reason. It doesn’t change anything. If someone wants to break up with their partner because of something stupid, you wouldn’t say they legally shouldn’t be able to. (And if you would, then you’re just a bad person.) No one should have to be in a relationship, romantic or otherwise, that they don’t want to be in.

For those who don't know: Ikumi Nakamura is the woman who was senior artist on Bayonetta, and designed the titular character along with Hideki Kamiya. Their greatest moment of bonding was over their insistence that Bayonetta keep her glasses on at all times. Nakamura cannot go to horny jail. She is the warden.
Happy pride month to her and her exclusively
she made a comic about the experience on twitter
