she didnât look like much at first glance, and that was why she was good at what she did. she didnât look like a threat, and therefore she could fool just about anyone she wanted to. of course, there was no need to fool anyone here, so she let her skills be known. she regarded the manâs form with little interest before looking up at some of the guys he was with, âyou gonna get him off the floor? itâs bothering me.â they moved quickly to get him out of her way.Â
she nodded like it was a matter of fact. living in her world meant there werenât many that posed a threat to her. it was just how things worked for andy, in matter of fact, she was more surprised when she had a good fight on her hands. this was just pathetic. however, what did have her surprised was to see a man like graham here. it was odd to see mythology come to life. it was even weirder to have him look at her like that. âi care!â she shot back. âthis is childâs play. too easy, there was nothing impressive here, but you. you are a living legend! god, i remember seeing you in that johnson fight! my dad took me and god, i would not leave him alone until he taught me how to throw a real pouch. i made my nanny sew gloves for my teddy bear after that fight.â
graham canât help but laugh slightly as he watched the man get picked up by his friends. a group of boys who moved with some haste, not even looking at the woman. he couldnât say he blamed them, he wasnât even sure he could withstand a hit like that, especially not when he wasnât expecting it. she was certainly a force to be reckoned with, though the small competitive side of him wondered if he could stand in a fight against her. though, he wasnât going to rush towards that.Â
what blew him away was not that she had just knocked the man out, but the fact that she had no regard, as if it was something she did on the daily. not that he doubted that she would be able to. what surprised him all the more was that she seemed to be impressed by him, as if he had been the one to lay out the man without a thought. living legend? graham was at a loss of words,he hardly thought of himself as a legend at all. âjohnson fight? you want to talk about childâs play,â he responds, with a hint of arrogance in his voice, recalling the fight. it had been a long time ago, but he still remembered it clearly. he felt as if he remembered all of his fights clearly, at least the ones that didnât end in him being knocked out instead. thankfully for him, those had been few and far between. still, he didnât think any of those put him in the legendary category. âthatâs adorable, and clearly, he taught you well. i donât know if i could withstand a punch like that.â
