I am obsessed with Lost Girl. I am on the team of LostGirlFae_bles.tumblr.com & the twitter account @SilkSite where we cover all Lost Girl, cast & crew related items. Having great fun creating daily album pages for fans to collect & super excited about Season 3 starting soon! I also write and currently studdying a Proofreading & Copyediting course online! I have a wide variety of interests, so in time ya all will find a liddle bit of everything here! I gave it my all when i could! I was so busy working & being sick I forgot to find love...the romantic kind. But the a few months ago I met my soul mate on twitter & fell head over heals & she has shown me what true love is all about! We are looking forward to a fantastic future together! Her love & support has even impacted my health. Now after a lifetime of illness (cystic fibrosis & now excruciating head pain IHH), i had spent most of the last 4 years in the 4 walls of my room & in & out of hospital, I have since been up an' about writing, travelling to Fanexpos and most importantly to see her! I am a Christian and have as yet not come out to my folks but soon I hope as I feel it is important to be honest with the people I love because then I am being honest with God, but I had to be sure of my gf's committment to me & mine to her before telling them & then I need to choose my moment. If i had been healthier i reackon i would have been a trucker, policewomen, army, something strong & awesome. One of dreams was to work behind the scenes as crew on tv productions but not so easy in south africa especially as i had an accounting business & permanent business 9 hours drive away! So now i live my dreams thru others! But with my GF now at my side well soon anyway!
Molly
This morning, as I opened my eyes, I realised there was a little fur ball on my pillow. As I shifted my head, a paw gently extended out of the little ball and settled under my chin, its soft fur tickling my skin. The paw belonged to my little nurse, who was ever present as she always is when my health is worse than normal. Meet my little girl cat, Molly! She is an eight year old tabby, whoâŚ
Dragging out my large, but lethal loudhailer, I slowly lift it to my lips and push the button, âEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!â Quickly switching it off as I apologetically shrug a âIâm sorry!â to my eagerly waiting fans. Both hands tightly gripping the handle, I swing the faulty piece of equipment against a nearby wall, an almighty crash shakes me to the core. One fan was scared right out of his socksâŚ
If having an illness or life threatening disease teaches you anything, it certainly is to teach you patience. Which is quite funny as both the word âpatienceâ and âpatientâ are both nouns, and âpatientâ means a person undergoing medical treatment. So, a person has to practice patience, or be patient, when being a patient. Now that I have cleared that up, let me explain why I am trying my hardestâŚ
Today is my first daily blog, so please folks bear with me if it doesnât quite make the grade, or doesnât quite get you giggling, or if you spot the odd spelling or grammatical error. I am doing my best here! What I will say is this ⌠I like to use slang and tend to do a lot of mobile messaging which uses so many abbreviations and slang that when I come to proper writing, I find I can no longerâŚ
First day of Faebles 2 for Lost Girl tv series exclusively, went well! My girlfriend and I arrived after an uneventful drive up from home to a hotel in Heathrow where the weekend event was held. Fortunately, there were no scenic routes driven like last year when mom decided we needed to check out the neighbouring area, when in fact she actually missed the off-ramp. The Renaissance Hotel inâŚ
Christmas and Boxing day of 2014 has come and gone with âmistletoe and wineâ. Perhaps you were fortunate enough to have a âwhite Christmasâ and go âdashing through the snowâ, maybe even on a âone horse open sleigh, jingling all the wayâ. Perhaps you live in the southern hemisphere with the blistering sun shining down on you, and it was more a matter of âall I want for Christmasâ is to âlet itâŚ
And just three sleeps till my fortieth birthday party. This time forty years ago, in another country far away, my mother would have been heavily pregnant and ready to pop. I proved to be a stubborn little thing and refused to turn around in her womb and poor mom had to have a cesarean section to get me out. Now let me point out two things here that baby Lisa (in the womb) did that would prove toâŚ

âLost Girlâ stars, producers talk San Diego Comic-Con
A power outage might stop some people from getting on with their day, but not the team behindLost Girl.
As the city of Toronto faced the aftermath of recent storms and flooding, power had been cut to the area surrounding Showcaseâs Lost Girl set, but even with the production offices in the dark, everything was under control as filming continued for the upcoming fourth season of the series.
Of course, the set has its own power for filming and the production itself, but the offices for the show were stuck trying to write and prepare upcoming episodes using natural light, or any flashlights they had on hand. That didnât seem to dampen anyoneâs spirits though as the team also prepared for their upcoming big trip to meet with fans at the San Diego Comic-Con, which kicks off this Thursday, July 18.
On set, I was one of the first journalists to sit in on filming, and I was lucky enough to be the first person to interview stars Anna Silk, Ksenia Solo, and executive producer Emily Andras and producer Vanessa Piazza. Details on the fourth season are of course still under wraps, so youâll have to wait a bit longer for those interviews, but I was able to get footage from a few scenes, and chat about the happenings, and excitement, that surrounds Comic-Con.
Watch the video interviews below to see what Silk, Solo, and the two producers had to say about meeting with their fans. Although Silk will not be able to make it this year to San Diego, she certainly had a smile on her face as she talked about previous trips to the massive event.
Season four of Lost Girl returns to Showcase in Canada on Sundays, beginning November 10, 2013 at 10:00 PM (ET/PT).
