Some of our best work are the proofs that weren't selected. Options passed over on. Designs that no one will ever see. Every designer has favorites. And that's just fine by us.

It's "Okay" to Rebrand
To a lot of people the idea of “rebranding" introduces them to sheer terror. It’s as if they were just visited by some sort of "logo-demon”, complete with horns and a taste for brand blood.
We see the panic in our clients’ faces when we ask them if they would consider rebrand.
“But we already have a logo!"
Yeah, we know - but the fact that we’re asking anyway should be a clue. Any designer worth their salt wants to work with great assets, including great logos. If you already have a great logo, they are going to flush with creative ideas on how to showcase that logo - not redesign it.
Brands and logos need refreshing from time to time. Why? Because what we as people find to be “innovative, enticing and engaging” evolve with our current culture and environmental perceptions. Say it another way, “everything has a shelf life”. This isn’t a bad thing. In fact, it’s an opportunity. A chance at improving, attracting fresh attention and taking advantage of new design trends.
Rebranding doesn’t mean starting from scratch and throwing everything away. It simply means taking the brand you currently have and making it more appealing to your target audience.
It’s okay to rebrand - just ask Mickey...

Guest Writing for Under30CEO
Very excited to announce that I've been picked up to do some guest writing at Under30CEO. I'll be sharing my experience and sharing some tips I've picked up over the years. Hopefully they can help others navigate the icy waters. Stay tuned for a release date on my first article!
“We as designers tend to produce things as a way of thinking through them.”

Welcome to shooting Manual & RAW
I've always had a passion for photography, albeit from an amateur's perspective for a long time. Year ago I got my first dslr and wow has my world changed. Just learning how to hold the camera properly was a new undertaking... As I became more comfortable behind the lens I started to discover amazing new details in my photographs. Recently, I made the decision to commit to shooting in Program and Manual modes. It's a brand new world. Never before have I felt so connected to my camera.

New Site, is a Coming!
We're getting really excited here at Striking Alchemy about the launch of our new site. The project has taken longer than anticipated but we really pushed the envelope as far as we could.
A few things to look for:
A homepage that gives a complete visual impression of SA, in a way you've never seen before.
Custom style form that's just beautiful.
A "Don't Hire Us' Page that you'll just need to check out.
