The marsh deer (Blastocerus dichotomus) are South American natives characterized by their long, distinctively black legs and pale markings around their eyes (with some individuals having entirely white faces). With an overall slender body shape resembling a whitetail, and with antlers resembling those of a mule deer, the marsh deer definitely seems familiar to those of us in the United States. Marsh deer eat a diet of aquatic plants and flowers, so their elongated limbs aid them by allowing them to wade deeper into muddy streams than the average deer. Most of their time is spent in the water, and they are often seen covered in mud by locals.

John Boyega: “Africa isn’t a testing lab you pieces of shit.”
Jay Ingram: “For those wondering, two scientists in France said they should test the COVID vaccine on people in Africa for efficiency or something. Super dehumanizing and part of a long, racist history of similar acts.”
