If Strip Clubs Were Olive Garden:
Customer: *sits at tip rail not tipping* "I don't get dances"
Customer: *sits at table eating bread sticks* "oh, sorry, I don't get meals. I just eat the free breadsticks"
Customer: "So I bet you're a total freak"
Customer: "I bet you make great Italian food!"
Customer: "Maybe I'll get a dance later"
Customer: "Maybe I'll order food but I just like drinking the free water"
Customer: "Youre soooo hot! Wow! What are you doing later?"
Customer: "that food looks so good!! Can I have a sample?"
Customer: "what can we do in the private room?"
Customer: "I know this is Olive Garden, but can I have a burrito?"
Customer: "I don't have to pay to get girls!"
Customer: "I cook at home every day and I'm here at a restaurant for no reason"
Attention stripper friends!
I donât really post a lot anymore because school is taking over my life, but I wanted to share this quick suggestion with you!
Read/listen to the audiobook of The Psychology of Selling! Itâs been helping me so much!Â
I can only work once a week right now, so itâs imperative that I make the one night totally worth it and Iâve been exploring different techniques to help me do so. I recently read a posting on stripperweb where a girl said that dancing is a sales job more than anything else. I was super intrigued by that so I started looking at sales techniques and ran across this book. Iâve been listening to it on iTunes and it really helps me focus in on SELLING.Â
Bitch goodbye there's other ways to make money besides spreading your pussy open for weirdos .
I had no idea!Â
I wish I had a better guidance counselor in high school. :( Is it too late to change careers?
OMG, I just googled âjobsâ because I had to see for myself and thereâs like whole websites out there for this! Wow!Â
fuck Fuck FUCK but it isnât my fault I didnât know. Who would ever suspect a place called monster.com is a place for employment? Youâre purposefully hiding these âjobsâ from dumb whores like us.
See how deep whorephobia runs!
Can we start asking civilians how to get a job? My message will read:
"Hello. I recently heard about employment and am curious about how to get a job. I promise I respect you even though I know your type earns way less money than you deserve for your labor. Please walk me through the entire process, as my internet only lets me go to tumblr.com and netflix.com. Thanks in advance! <3"
Thatâs a great one! Hereâs mine:Â
"Hi, it has recently come to my attention that I donât HAVE to âspread my pussyâ to make money and I was wondering if you had any tips or advice to get me started. How much money do you make? Do you hate your customers/clients/boss? You canât do it forever, whatâs your plan for afterward, when your mind and body are all used up? Do your parents know what you do? Do you have a significant other? They must be super awesome to stay with you even though you make so little money! Thanks in advance!"Â
"I want to be an employee at Target, but I donât want to have to interact with customers when they have problems, stock shelves, or have to clean the bathroom. I want to show up and look good in my red shirt and khackis and collect a check."
"I know you spent years in school and everything to become a lawyer, but Iâd like to start doing it, like, tomorrow. Can you tell me everything you did and how I can skip it so I can start making 75k a year by next week?"
REBLOG THIS IF YOU'RE A STRIPPER.
I want to follow all of you!! Need more of you wonderful people on my dash xxx
Iâve posted this a million times, but again. =]]]
Can I reblog if I wanna be a stripper? đą

Stripper here, whaddup.
do atheists say oh my god
yep. Â we say it any time we hear something thatâs unbelievable.
hoes donât get cold
Sorry, I'm not a stripper, so I'd like to hear what you think is wrong with the Lap Dance trailer?
Hi,
EVERYTHING.

SN
Ok Anon,
Maybe I was a bit harshâŠLet me get into the nitty gritty of why I HATE THE TRAILER and mostly likely the movie. So, whatâs wrong with the trailer?
Short answer: EVERYTHING. This movie reinforces all of societies thoughts about what the stripping is, or what they think of the sex industry as a whole.Â
Long answer:
Okay, before the long answer I will say this â the only thing I find believable is the premise. If you read the synopsis on IMDb, it says that a woman finds herself in financial ruin after trying to care for her father who is dying of cancer. She turns to stripping to manage the bills. Totally believable, I donât doubt this or something similar has happened to someone who has entered the sex industry. In fact, it mirrors my story a little bit. My dad died at 18, I found myself mentally and financially unraveling 4 years after his death. I took the the strip club to find financial, and eventually, mental stability.
BUT BUT they ruin it, and hereâs howâŠ
Strike one - Stripping is NOT AS GLAMOROUS AS THEY MAKE IT LOOK. It just isnât! Not all strippers look like the way they make them appear in this trailer, these women are clearly Hollywoodâs idea of what a stripper looks like â which is far from reality. Real people are strippers; and people are beautiful, ugly, mediocre, perfect, and flawed. Of course, beauty is subjective and I believe that this industry accommodates that to a point. I find myself needing to let this go thoughâŠafter all this is a movie. The public wants to see good looking people with problems. Okay, fineâŠ
Strike two - Somewhere just before the minute mark thereâs a voice over that says, âItâs the money that brings the girls in, but the attention that keeps them coming back.â And to that I say â FFUUCCKK YYOOUU.Â
This line was clearly written by someone who has little to NO knowledge of general stripper experience. At best the writer may have had an anecdote of some bitter retired strip club manager.
Every dancer I know stays a dancer because she wants MONEY. Women, generally, can get attention anywhere if they dress us up and go out on the town. Iâm not a man, so I canât speak for them, but Iâm assuming the same is true for them. So why go to a strip club, a place where you have to PAY TO WORK (usually), a place where people STIGMATIZE YOU for doing a job that is COMPLETELY LEGAL, a place where people IMMEDIATELY THINK LESSER OF YOU to get attention?! WHY WHY WHY WHY?!Â
I know strippers who love their jobs, Iâm one of them, but itâs certainly not for the attention. And I certainly donât know any strippers who stay stripping strictly for the attention, as nice of a perk as it maybe for some of us. I do this job because it gives me more fiscal control of my life, flexibility in my schedule and the ability to travel. If anything, because of dancing, I HATE getting attention outside the club! Whenever someone hits on me I think they owe me money.
Strike three â just after the minute mark a black male appears saying, âIf you were my girl I would never share you with strangers.â Now we saw this man before, he was asking about the leading lady. I would assume that heâs the manager of the club, however in this trailer, they portray him like a pimp. Letâs for now, ignore the clearly sexist nature of this commentâŠletâs pay attention to the fact that this is how they chose to push the plot line. Like, câmon, REALLY?! Are we doing this right now?! There are so many kinds of strippers in the world and you want to go with this kind of stripper?! The most boring, predictable story eevveerr, for one. And for two, thanks again, Hollywood, for reinforcing a negative stereotype of an industry no one really wants or cares to understand.Â
Now, donât get me wrong, pimps do appear in strip clubs to recruit womenâŠmaybe thatâs what this story ends up being about. But there are just as many dancers who avoid pimps like the plague because they donât want to hand their hard earned money over to someone else at the end of a long shift. Many dancers get into this business because they have a goal in mind â to finish school, to care for loved ones, to travel, to start a business, to not be homeless â so getting involved with a pimp is counter intuitive. However, again, I donât now that there are dancers who end up with a pimp for whatever reason. In my experience itâs RARE that this happens, but thatâs not to say that it doesnât.
The last two strikes â When the leading ladyâs partner says, âThe woman I know is a good girlâ or something like that. Again, another FFUUCCKK YYOOUU. This good girl gone bad girl stripper troupe is played out, Hollywood. Think of something more interesting than that, will you please?! Thatâs right on up there with, âI thought I was in controlâ line that the leading lady says. I justâŠughâŠthat line could apply to anyone in any industry.Â
So stop Hollywood, just stop making boring predictable, useless, uninformed stories about an industry you strictly use to exploit for its seemingly âedgyâ feel. Itâs not edgy if itâs predictable. Itâs edgy if youâre using played out troupes. Also, this industry isnât edgy. Itâs everywhere, typical even, and in fabric of the world. Itâs just the public chooses to ignore it or stigmatize it, and youâre not helping change that.Â
Hope that answers your question Anon,
xx

Very important additional note:
Not sure what trailer you guys are watching, but in one of the ones I saw, the main characterâs fiancĂ© pushes her across the room into a wall with his hand over her throat, seemingly driven to madness over something that happened pertaining to the strip club plotline. IT GETS WORSE: the rest of the trailer is spent depicting him as her saving grace, her true love, or the good side of whatever duality shit they have going on in this train wreck of a movie. So the writers, film crew, and actors all team up to tell the story of a poor, victimized man whose perfect woman turns into a âbad girlâ and somehow, all the love he had for her and all the respect that he had fostered for her disappears and he becomes a bully over a decision that he had initially supported her through. But itâs OK, heâs just so angry, and he has the right to be. Who would want to marry a stripper???
Iâd like to add that this all seems to develop very quickly. Stripping is not instant money. It takes time, effort, and more money to develop the skills necessary to become a top girl, and even when that happens, these are some of the most level-headed and intelligent girls in the club, by no means âbad girlsâ or the morally depraved, desperate individuals that Hollywood thirsts for and then slanders.
I digress. This poor, relatable character, whose soon-to-be wife (WIFE, a LIFE partner!) takes a chance in an intimidating and stigmatized industry to simultaneously pay her dying fatherâs medical bills and save them from homelessness (not sure how she makes that money so quickly, but Iâd love to work at that club instead!). And because this is all about him, apparently, he has justification in acting out violently toward her. But itâs okay, right? He doesnât actually hit her, so the audience can still sympathize with him.
If all this happens over her (admittedly too personal, showing them in a car together, and him picking her up at one point) relationship with the pimp/hustler/side man character, that kind of nullifies half my point, but he still assaults her, and the movie still depicts him as âthe oneâ and for that reason alone (fortunately, thereâs so much more to hate!), this movie is garbage.
Also at the very end the voice over says, "Anything goes in the VIP"... I wanted to throw my computer across the room. LIKE WTF MAN. NO. No, no, no.Â
Omfg!!!! Hahahaha those heels! đ·
Soo true though haha đ

i really hate seeing children at gay rallies. in most cases, they donât understand what theyâre doing and what theyâre promoting. i think most children are pressured into going to gay rallies by their parents and, therefore, pressured into believing in gay marriage.Â
i really hate seeing children in churches. in most cases, they donât understand what theyâre doing and what theyâre promoting. i think most children are pressured into going to churches by their parents and, therefore, pressured into believing in a magic man in the sky who will send them to hell if they touch themselves or eat shrimp.
omg
A big âfuck youâ to the bitches that find it necessary to bring to your attention that they got ahold of your customer when you werenât around. Oh, Bob says âHiâ? Go fuck yourself.
Other than my back fat, I'm super in love with this new work outfit.
