summary: Much to Tom Riddle's surprise, he's not the only one that loves you dearly.
Tom Riddle found the Riddle Manor to be comforting at times like this, where he would be at his desk writing down his plans for the future, with you in the same room doing whatever interested you. You would come up to him, asking him the most random questions, yet Tom never minded. Over and over, he would indulge you with whatever you wanted.
He would find himself staring at you occasionally, his eyes moving away from his parchment to find you and a comforting feeling would wash over him every time.
Tom had always wondered how much he loved you.
He loved you, undoubtedly, but did he love you enough to stay with you forever? Did he love you enough to keep you?
You were intelligent and powerful, and he liked those about you. Those were what drew him to you, after all. Even after both of you left Hogwarts together, you were still the brilliant person he knew. Fortunately, due to that, it would seem like he would be keeping you for a long time.
It was also due to love, that he would be keeping you for a long time as well.
How long? How he wished he knew.
As he continued to stare at you, his mind drifted back to his main question—How much did he love you?
Much to his suprise, he found the answer in his own soul.
When Tom found you admiring his first ever Horcrux, he didn't give much thought into it. If anything, he felt quite proud at how you were still amazed by the idea of a Horcrux. He even considered helping you to make one.
The next following days, he noticed you spending more time with the Diary.
He kept a close eye on you. After all, Horcrux was considered to be the most terrible of all Dark Magic. You were no stranger to Dark Magic, yet a part of him was worried about how it might affect you, how his soul would affect yours.
He had seen you writing in the Diary quite a lot, even chuckling to yourself at times.
For safety precautions, he decided one day, to confiscate the Diary, despite that it was clearly, his.
As expected, you had approached him regarding the Diary.
"You've been obsessed with it, darling," he said smoothly, paying full attention to your reactions as always.
He watched how you frowned slightly. "I'm not obsessed."
Then, you tilted your head. "Well, I am obsessed with bullying the teenage you."
He raised an eyebrow. "You have been bullying my Horcrux?"
"Not exactly," you said, sighing. "I enjoy talking to him—you. Plus, you're busy most of the time."
"You can still come to me," he said softly. "You know I wouldn't mind."
"I do mind," you remarked. "Just give me the Diary."
"No."
"He'll get lonely."
Tom raised both his eyebrows incredulously.
"Whatever!" you huffed. "Ask him, he'll say I'm right."
He watched as you walked away and left the room, no doubt finding new obsession to occupy yourself with.
He contemplated for a moment. It sounded ridiculous, asking the Diary about you. Yet his curiosity got the better of him and he found himself writing in the Diary.
He started with a simple greeting, and almost immediately, a response came.
It's you.
Tom wanted to scoff, because he could feel the disappointment coming from his younger self. He was just writing his response, when a writing came up at the same time. The moment he saw "Where is..." he knew very well what the question was going to be. He had just greeted the Diary, and he could already tell that you were right.
The Diary is with me now, Tom wrote.
Why?
Give it back.
Tom felt a bit offended at that. The Diary was his, not yours. Out of pettiness, he refused to respond anymore and immediately left the room with the Diary in his hand.
You were about to drop the "I told you so!" when you saw him approaching with the Horcrux, but he just wordlessly gave it to you before leaving while muttering something about ungratefulness.
Tom had been deep in his thoughts, as he stared at you from his desk once again. You were on the floor, wearing Slytherin's Locket, which was his latest Horcrux, while being surrounded by books. Of course, one of the books was his Diary.
You were oddly close with his Horcruxes, he noticed. Sometimes, being near him, you would even take his ring off of him just so you could wear it.
Perhaps, he thought, if he should keep you by his side, then he would let you protect and keep his Horcruxes. You definitely would love that.
That was if he should keep you by his side.
He almost sighed at the thought. He did plan this, he really did. He had thought far into the future back in Hogwarts, and he had already envisioned what his future would be like with you. He loved you, and he would gladly keep you by his side.
But were you his strength or his weakness?
Would you be the one to keep him going, or the one that would pull him down?
As he watched you take off the Locket and place it down in front of you, he fell deeper into his own mind.
It seemed that the choice was already made, considering you were here with him, at his home, your home.
Love was never something he was an expert at, and in life, you were the only thing he loved. He wondered if it was genuine, he wondered if it was useful and he wondered if it was—
"Op...en"
—real.
"O...pen."
He blinked. Was that Parseltongue?
"What are you doing?" he questioned immediately, now realising why you had taken off the Locket and placed it carefully in front of you earlier.
"Open."
His eyes widened. The perfection pronunciation.
"Don't—!"
He was too late—the Locket had opened.
A burst of black smoke emerged from the Locket, reaching the ceiling. His papers had flown everywhere but he didn't care. He didn't care that his work became a mess and was flying around the room because he had to get to you.
"I have seen your heart, and it is mine."
That was his own voice, he recognised and it was oddly...
Loving.
The smoke was gradually dissipating, becoming less violent and he noticed a blurry and misty figure coming into view from the smoke. It was him.
The Locket was walking slowly towards you, who were now standing and Tom noticed how you were a bit far from your previous spot on the floor. He wondered briefly if you got hurt somehow when the Locket had opened.
Tom should be getting to you, he should be closing the Horcrux and check up on you but curiousity got the better of him again, because the Locket had his eyes on you with a look that was far from malice.
"I have seen your dreams," continued the Locket. "And I have seen your desires."
He then said your name, so softly that Tom almost couldn't believe that this was a form of Dark Magic.
"My sweet, little love," the Locket purred, as his hand came up to caress your cheek, or at least, he tried to. The Locket didn't seem to mind at all as his blurry hand still hovered near your face.
"My intelligent darling," praise the Locket, giving into your desires. Tom noticed this immediately. You loved validation, you craved for it, and this Locket was giving you exactly that.
His Horcrux was indulging you with your desires.
Why?
His answer came immediately.
"My love," said the Horcrux softly. "My love with a brilliant mind, and a beautiful heart."
He watched as how you were smiling and looking back at his Horcrux so lovingly that he almost felt jealous.
"Close," Tom ordered in Parseltongue, approaching you quickly.
The Locket turned around to gave Tom a cold stare before it was sucked back into the Locket. You had somehow made his own Horcruxes dislike him.
Tom picked up the Horcrux from the floor and looked at you with a raised eyebrow, demanding an explanation — several explanations.
"If this is about the Parseltongue," you started. "The Diary taught me."
"The Diary taught you," he repeated slowly.
"Yes! I was absorbed into the book several times and I asked him to teach me to say that one specific word," you explained, almost sounding proud. "Also, the last time I opened the Locket—"
"You've opened it before," Tom repeated dryly.
"It was outside!" you defended yourself quickly. "I forgot about the smoke!"
Tom inhaled slowly. "Just why were you opening it just now?"
"Well," you started shyly. "You saw how he treated me."
Tom looked at the Locket in his hand, contemplating. "The first time you opened it, it didn't attack you?"
"No," you replied. "He was very sweet."
"Sweet," he chuckled. This was a Horcrux, for Salazar's sake.
"Please don't take it away," you begged sincerely, causing him to look at you again. "I really like this one."
He sighed, before stepping closer and hanging the necklace around your neck. Right where it belongs, he thought.
"I won't," he said softly, while pressing his hand on your chest, where the Locket was. Warm. "It seems that... even my soul is fond of you."
"Even?" you whispered.
"Yes," he said, without missing a beat. "I am fond of you."
"Thank you," you murmured. "You haven't been... I feel like you..."
He frowned at your words. "You were under the impression that I don't love you anymore," he stated.
"Don't say it like that," you said shamefully. "It didn't feel like that, I thought maybe... just not as much as you used to."
"So you resort to my Horcruxes."
"Kind of," you admitted.
"I will let you know now, then," he said firmly, holding your shoulders. "I love you, and I don't plan on letting you go anytime soon. You will stay by my side for eternity."
Yes, he had made up his mind. If his Horcruxes loved you too, then it must meant something. What he felt for you was genuine and he did love you enough, and more. He loved you dearly to keep you with him in his forever.
You beamed up at him for his words. "I love you too."
He inhaled sharply at your response.
How much did he love you?
He loved you enough along with his soul. He loved you enough that his soul was intertwined with you.
"Considering you're so fond of my Horcruxes, how do you feel about becoming one?"
Hi! I found you SNK Handmaid's Tail recently and I really enjoy your writing! The story intrigued me so much that I started listening to the audiobook today. My sister had recommended the series to me twice before and when I found your fic I just took it as a clear sign that I had to read or watch the original. But now I'm kind of getting confused with what story line is part of your story and what is part of the original story because you have intertwined your version so well with the original book/series. May I please ask to be added to your tag list, please?
Hii!!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you are enjoying the fic and so happy that it made you interested in the original book/tv show! Thank you so much for the compliment 💕
Hey congrats on 100+! Can I request 1 and 16 with Levi x fem reader pls and thank you 😊

Summary: Levi hated winter until you came around. Then, it was a complete different story.
A/n: hi! Thank you so much for requesting! I liked writing it very much, I hope it is to your liking. If it wasn't what you had thought, please tell me and I'll work on something else! Also, I usually don't post two works on a single day, but I wrote this down in a few hours and liked how it turned out. As always, English is not my first language so forgive me for any mistakes; reblogs, likes, feedbacks are appreciated!
If he had to be honest, Levi didn't like winter so much. It was way too cold for him, and had him shivering every now and then. Snow wasn't something he liked either: everytime you'd go outside, your shoes would be covered in snow, meaning that you had to be extremely careful not to bring it inside, otherwise he would get annoyed. Moreover, snow was kind of wet and it irked him that his clothes and hair would get watery.
On the other hand, you, the love of his life, were staring at the snow falling from the sky as if you were a little kid, happily jumping around. It wasn't much time that you two began dating, almost six months ago, but Levi already knew that his future had you in it.
" 'Vi!", you exclaimed, jumping on his lap. "It's snowing". He loved that you two were completely different people, because it helped him to be more careless and you to be more careful. Even though you had such clashing personalities, he wouldn't trade you for anyone else. You made him happy, even if he didn't show it that much.
"I have eyes too, you know", he answered, moving a lock of hair behind your ear.
"It's time for a snowball fight!", you euphorically screamed centimeters away from his ears, causing him to flinch.
"Absolutely not", the raven-haired guy answered, taking you by your shoulders and moving next to him.
"Why?", you whined, taking his arm.
"It's cold, you'll get sick".
"I'll wear extra layers of clothes".
"No".
"But-". He glanced at you with a stern look, to which you pouted. "Okay, you are aware of climate changes, aren't you?". He nodded, trying to understand your logic. "Well, then you should know that Earth's temperature is skyrocketing, so we should enjoy playing in the snow as long as we can, since it could be the last time we see it!", you reasoned, holding up a finger as if you were an expert.
"Aren't you a little dramatic?", he ironically asked but actually found it very cute.
You sighed, leaning your legs on his lap. "Okay, how about this? We go outside. No snowball fights".
Levi couldn't resist anymore. You looked way too cute pouting at him like that and making those big eyes he had a weakness for. "Fine", he said, sighing dramatically. When he saw your excited reaction though, he knew it would be worth it.
If there was one thing he liked about that particular situation, it was the complete silence that had fallen down over your neighborhood. It was somehow beautiful seeing as everything gradually lost its color to the perfect white of the snow. Everything was so peaceful, that he almost regretted not having done it before. Almost.
When something passed near his head, he knew exactly that it was you, doing the exact opposite from what you had told him minutes before. You were looking at him with a smug and proud smile on your face, as you held a big snowball in your hand.
"Don't you dare throw that snowball at m- goddammit!". Before he could even finish his sentence, a ball of snow was directly thrown in his chest. "You asked for it", he said, lowering to the ground and taking an amount of snow, which he quickly turned into a ball.
"YEAH!", you screamed. It was what you wanted, after all.
"You'd better run, you little shit".
And so, you were throwing snowballs at each other, running to avoid them and hiding behind trees or part of his building, while you yelled childish sentences one to another.
"Eat snow!".
"I'm coming for you, tiny!".
"HA! Missed me".
That had been going on for a little while when he noticed you leaning over a wall and painting, while peeking over the angle to see if he was there. Truth was, Levi was behind you, and he used his position of advantage to throw another ball at you.
"What the fuck - 'Vi!".
He moved closer to you, thinking how lucky he was to have someone as you by his side. Levi had actually enjoyed himself very much, despite his initial resistance. He moved in front of you, holding your hands and smiling at your faked-sad face.
" I won", he said with a little smile.
"Have I entered an alternate universe or did you really just crack a smile for me?", you teasingly asked, causing him to get to his usual boring face and throwing you in the snow covered grass.
"You deserve it", he said before you could complain about your actual state.
"I've created a monster". You slowly got up, removing the snow from your clothes and quietly laughing. "So, about the global environment…".
"What now?", he asked, holding your waist near to him.
"I think we should have a hot shower together, you know… to save water" you traced invisibile drawing on his coat and smiling smugly.
Although it was freezing, Levi felt himself burning up at the thought. He took you by the wrist and led you inside, without caring too much about dirtying the floor.
Canon! Levi xfem! Noble! Reader, everyone appears at some point
Warnings : enemies to lovers, slightly violent at the end, fast proofreading
Summary : You are a noble from a very healthy family, he is the Captain of the Survey Corps. Polar opposites, you would think. You'd be right, if it wasn't for a pair of gloves and an accidental marriage proposal to him.
A/N: Hi! I'm posting it today as I was able to anticipate some writings, so here I am. I promise that I've been working on the ask I've received and they will probably come within next week but it was time to update this story and I thought now was the right time, since I've already written it. I hope you like it! As always, reblogs/feedbacks/likes are appreciated and English is not my first language so forgive me for any mistakes.
III
"Dear, you could start pouring the tea". Your mother said with a note of disappointment in her voice. She sat with her arms in her lap, while her two friends waited with their empty cups.
You blinked twice, blushing a little. "Sure, mother. I apologize for my distraction". You carefully poured the tea in their cups, internally questioning why they couldn't do that on their own.
"She was busy thinking about a certain someone", Lady Melisande said, covering her mouth as she giggled.
Lady Wendy, your mother's other friend, sipped on the cup of tea and smiled. "When is the wedding due, my dear?".
"We haven't decided yet. He's a busy man". Honestly, you haven't seen him for a month and you were a little bit worried about what Aurille had told you.
"But you're not getting any younger!", Lady Melisande exclaimed. "You're already older than other wives".
"She doesn't understand", your mother said disappointedly. "I am sure that Liz and my other babies would make me more proud of her".
You sighed. It was hard living only with your mother, who used any occasion to remind you how much you disappointed her.
You could hear their chatter in the background but your mind was elsewhere. Since the day you sneaked into that room, you found it very difficult to enter it again. Moreover, you were honestly worried for Levi and the Survey Corps: he was unbearable most of the time but you didn't want something happening to him. You leaned over the window, looking outside. There were nobles coming and going, among which you could notice your sisters Coraline and Etta walking closer and occasionally talking to some men. Your mother would surely be proud of them.
Your heart started racing when you saw a carriage stopping in front of the entrance and a tall blond man getting out of it. Commander Erwin Smith, you said to yourself. You excused yourself to the women and ran down the stairs, holding your skirt up. This meant that the Survey Corps were still intact and Aurille did nothing to them.
Your face slammed against something, or better someone, interrupting your crazy race. When you looked up, two gunmetal eyes stared at you with their signature boring glance. He held your arms, in order not to let you fall.
"Captain", you whispered.
"Miss Clumsy", he said ironically. "Were you running for me?". He was wearing a dark blue suit with a white shirt and his usual cravat, looking very much elegant.
Not exactly. "You would like", you answered ironically. Little thing you didn't notice, it was that he was still holding your arms and you were the closest you've ever been. You lost yourself in his eyes, noticing how they had blue shades and how beautiful they were.
A cough behind Levi made you flinch. You took a step closer and blushed deeply as Commander Erwin greeted you.
"Have I interrupted something?", he asked.
"Yes, her fall", Levi bitterly answered.
You opened your mouth to protest and closed it again, looking like a dumb fish. "Hi, Commander, long time no see", you decided to ignore Levi's sentence, hoping that he would realize how childish he was.
"We've been busy with a particular example of Titan", the blonde man explained very patiently. "The Female Titan".
"Oh, I didn't know that".
Levi chuckled ironically. "No way".
"I hope you're not hurt", you stated after glaring at Captain's words.
You noticed how Erwin's mouth opened to speak, but Levi stopped him. "We're soldiers and we're used to it. Not like you lazy ass nobles".
Usually, words didn't bring you down. That day, probably due to everything that your mother said, your self esteem was practically on the ground. You looked at your feet, fidgeting with your gloves-covered fingers.
"We'll be there for two days and we will attend the ball tonight ", Erwin said, probably noticing the changing of your behavior. "I look forward to seeing you there".
You smiled. "Likewise, Commander".
"What the fuck are you doing, Eyebrows?".
The two boys had entered the room prepared for them. It was a big and elegant one, but Levi still preferred his small office.
"What did I do?". Erwin placed his jacket on a chair and then turned to his short friend.
"Did you forcefully drag my ass there to flirt with her in front of me?". He wanted to slap himself for not controlling his words. "Fuck".
His friend laughed lightly. "Oh my", he said. "Are you perhaps jealous?".
"No! Did your brain get bitten by rats?".
"And, for the record, I was just being nice".
Honestly, Levi didn't like how Erwin talked to you and he didn't appreciate the look you gave him. It made him feel… weird, in a sense.
He was stressed out. These past weeks had been extremely hard for him: he had lost his own squad to that Female Titan and hurt his left leg in order to save Mikasa. The nurses told him to rest for a little and he discontentedly did as they said. He sighed, sitting on a chair. "Where are we going back? This rich air is driving me nuts".
"In two days, Levi. Why don't you take a walk outside? I'm sure it will help you".
"Tsk", he muttered, getting close to the window. He admired your petite figure from afar: he loved the attention you put in your looks. That day you were wearing a simple square collar violet velvet dress with a pair of white gloves. Your hair was well hidden behind a white and purple hat, which had some flowers in it. He thought about asking you to give him a run of the gardens but suddenly changed his mind when he noticed how you latched your right arm with another man’s and looked away. Again, he felt the same strange feeling in his stomach. "I'd rather stay here".
Erwin decided to take a nap, so he was left alone with his thoughts while looking outside. He couldn't help but think about his squad and how they had perished: even though everyone said that he was an heartless man, he suffered a lot on the inside and didn't like to make it public because it would mean having a weakness. A little voice in his head told him that he was doing the same thing with you, but he immediately shushed it.
The only feelings he could have for you would be hatred. You were a fucking noble while he came from the Underground, the place the nobles themselves had abandoned. Obviously, he knew that it wasn't your fault but still.
After an hour or two spent looking outside the window, he decided to get up. He didn't have a particular place in mind but he couldn't stand being in that room with Erwin's snores.
He widened his eyes when he heard a piano playing a relatively fast song. He knew shits about music but that was very nice. When he reached the source of the music, he silently sneaked in and was surprised to find you playing the piano.
You had taken the hat and your gloves off and placed them near the instrument. He looked at your tiny figure again, feeling a tingle in his heart. Despite being very annoying, he had missed your company during those past weeks. As the music slowed down, he began clapping very slowly.
"You scared me", you said, placing a hand on your heart. "You were pretty silent".
"And you were pretty concentrated". He walked towards you, pointing to the piano seat. "May I?".
You nodded and shifted to the side to make space for him. Like that morning, you two were close again: from that distance, he could smell your lavender perfume and admire every detail of your face.
"I've tried to talk to my mom about the marriage thing", you whispered, "but she doesn't want to listen to me".
Levi hummed. He didn't want to think about that now, so he changed the subject. "Keep playing, I find it very relaxing".
You pressed your fingers on the white and black keys very gracefully. "I suppose you went through a lot".
"You suppose?", he asked incredulously. "You don't know anything about what we go through out there, so don't fucking try talking about it".
You stopped playing immediately. "It wasn't my intention, Captain". Then you turned your body completely towards his and sighed. He could tell something was off with you, you've never been that submissive since he had met you .
"I need to talk to you". Your words caught his attention. The look in your eyes made his heart clench but he could and wouldn't admit it.
"Please, tell me that you are pregnant with someone's child so we have a reason to call off the wedding".
You thinned your lips and annoyingly frowned. "Captain, you are unbelievable". And with that, you took your hat and stormed out of the room, leaving him alone with your gloves.
That night's event was pretty calm: there weren't many people and the music was low.
You stood near the door alone. Despite Erwin's words, you didn't see them. Etta had abandoned you to dance with a boy who, according to her, "would have probably proposed to her that same night". Her enthusiasm was endearing and you were a little bit jealous of her goals in life. Etta accomplished anything she wanted while you were failing in discovering your father's real fate.
For that occasion, you had put on a light blue dress with a large ruffle skirt and short puff sleeves which left your chest a little bit more exposed than normal. You had styled your hair in a simple side braid, not having the will or the strength to do something more complicated. Your hands were bare for the first time in a long time since you forgot your gloves.
Meeting the Captain that afternoon had shaken you: you wanted to help him and tell him to be careful but his answer made you understand that there was no hope for the two of you. From the next day on, you would convince even more your mother into breaking the marriage.
You felt a fresh breath on your neck, which made you turn around quickly. "You need to stop scaring me like that".
Levi hummed. After a moment of silence, he handed you the gloves you had forgotten in the piano room.
"Thank you, I believed that I had lost them forever", you said, putting them on. "They do not match with my outfit, though. Mh, I'll keep them anyway".
Since no sassy comments came back from him, you raised your head a little. He was looking at you, his eyes lingering a little too much on your mildly exposed breast. "Captain?".
His cheeks turned a bit rose as he looked away. "I came here because you wanted to talk".
"I thought it didn't matter to you, since your rudeness".
"I've changed my mind".
"Well, if we leave this room it would be too suspicious. I'd suggest talking where people are more distracted".
He hummed. "Then, let's dance".
"What?", you laughed a little, covering your mouth with your hand.
"Are you deaf?", he asked with his usual boring and ironic tone.
"I didn't know you were the type to dance. Besides, I like to be asked properly",you kept smiling teasingly at him.
Levi scoffed audibly. "You are so annoying", he said before breathing in and taking your right hand. "Little Miss Clumsy, can I have a dance?".
You smiled and even though his expression didn't change a bit, you noticed how his cheeks became a little bit rosier. Stop it, you said to yourself, Surely it is because of the hot room.
"You can, Captain". You took his hand for the first time, leading him to the dance floor. The electricity of his touch sent goosebumps all over your body.
You two began swirling in circles, chest against chest while one of his hands was placed on your waist. He moved very gracefully and you wondered if he was also this agile when he fought Titans.
"You dance very well, Captain".
"Get to the point, brat".
You raised your head so that your mouth was aligned with his ear, and started to speak. "Almost a week ago, I ran into Aurille in one of the rooms" , you spelled the word meticulously, in order to be understandable over the music. "And he told me that they intend to shut your division down, Captain".
He tightened his grip on your waist, freezing a little. "What do you mean?".
"I don't know either. I've tried to ask more questions, but he told me that he was joking".
"Hm", he hummed. "I don't trust him".
"Well, we finally have something in common, Captain", you moved your head away from his ear and smiled while, in response, he only rolled his eyes.
"Thank you anyway, brat. You nobles are useful sometimes".
"I'm glad to hear that. Now, would you return the favor?".
"So, is the plan clear?".
"I'm a soldier, I should ask you that".
"Well, Captain, you don't have a saying in it", you stopped walking and moved in front of him. "Do you remember the name of the file?".
He scoffed. "Yes, you've told me ten fucking times".
"So, the key is usually in the top drawer and…", you started again, gesturing nervously with your hands as your breath itched.
"I don't understand why you should distract him, though", he interrupted you with his bored tone.
You bit your lip and stared at your feet, practically invisible under the gown of the dress. "Sir Aurille has a particular…fondness for me. I feel that I could handle him". Why were you nervous to tell him that? You and Levi disliked each other, it was no secret. So, even if you wanted to spend time with Aurille, why would you care about his opinion?
"Oh".
You looked at him, nervously playing with your braid. "Indeed". As soon as you reached the door, you opened it with both hands. "I'll be here outside".
A few seconds later, you heard Aurille's voice through the corridor. You flinched, mentally preparing yourself for the worst scenarios.
"Oh, look who's there waiting for me!", he drunkenly screamed. "My cute little Miss".
You swallowed hard, trying to compose yourself. Normally you would have kicked him or thrown something at him but, at that moment, it wasn't appropriate. "Good evening to you, Sir. Did you have fun at the ball?".
"Oh yes, obviously. But I feel I would have more now with you and your breast". He moved closer to you, causing you to lean your back against the wall.
You began sweating and hoped that Levi hurried inside. "Sir, I ask you to move away from me".
"And I ask you to shut the fuck up, you little bitch", he said taking your wrist and holding them on your head. "Now you don't seem so active, don't you, Missy?".
You spit into his eyes as he got closer. "Leave me". Your voice was revealing your insecurities, even if you tried to look as determined as ever.
"Shut up", he hissed, moving your head closer to yours. You could smell the alcohol in his mouth and it made you sick.
You moved your head to the side, feeling his sloppy mouth on your neck while you thought of something to get out of that situation. You started kicking, but it was no use.
Suddenly, Aurille was off of you and you fell to the ground. You watched as Levi kicked him very hard in the stomach and at his sides. He looked ravenous while he was hitting him like there was no tomorrow. "You fucking pig, how the fuck do you dare touching her like that?", he screamed, taking him by the collar of his shirt. "Tsk, I'll spare your fat face for today". He let him fall on the floor, as if he was disgusted by him. "Piece of shit".
He then turned to you, extending a hand to help you to stand up . Again, the feeling of your hands on his made you feel goosebumps, even if you were a bit shaking from what had just happened.
"Thank you but I was managing on my own". You said, fiercely raising your head.
"Yeah, I noticed". He handed you the files. "Here".
You took them, breathing in. Finally, the truth about your father was in your hands. You eagerly opened the file and the first thing that caught your eyes was his 'status'. You felt the world collapse on your shoulders as you read 'dead'. Tears tingled your eyes as you fell on the ground; you felt a sense of hatred for the man laying senseless in front of you.
He knew everything from the start and he was probably the one who gave the order. You quickly stood up and started kicking Aurille's body furiously, screaming in pain.
"Stop", Levi said, taking your arms. It was no use as you continued hitting Aurille's body with all your force. "Oi, stop", the raven-head said, moving you away. You involuntarily fell into his arms, your body shaken from crying sobs, hugging onto him and placing your head on the crook of his head.
Hey! I wanted to request a Levi x noble reader if you are still taking in request. Basically levi and reader are forced into an arranged marriage. Readers dad and Erwin made a deal that if reader marries Levi than he would stay helping the survey Corps when they needed money. Obviously both reader and Levi are upset about this arrangement but there’s nothing they can do about. After they get married reader moves in with Levi. Levi doesn’t really talk to reader because he thinks she’s a spoiled brat. Even though reader is trying her best to get along with him. That changes when he notices that reader isn’t who he thought she was. She’s always helping other cadets, helping around the kitchen, bringing him some tea and food when he’s overworking himself. that’s when he starts to fall for her. Thanks! 😁
This was such a nice request!! I hope you like 🥺❤️
I was also wondering if you guys are interested in other characters from different anime? Like MHA or Demon Slayer? Anyway, have a great day!

‘I know it’s a lot to ask Levi, but we need his money’, Erwin was standing in front of his friend, hands resting on Levi’s shoulder. ‘`Tch’, Levi gritted his teeth while looking at the ground, ‘They think because they’re noble, because they’re rich, because they hide behind those damn walls that they can control us like puppets’. ‘Please’, Erwin looked at the ground, eyes hanging low, ‘The Corps won’t be able to survive without his support’. ‘Erwin’, Levi slowly took Erwin’s hand from his shoulder, ‘I’m not marrying her’. Erwin closed his eyes, ‘I’m sorry Levi, I already agreed. ‘What?’, Levi widened his eyes in anger. ‘I said you would marry her, I’m sorry’, Erwin turned around, walking towards his desk, ‘There was no other choice’. ‘Tch’, Levi clenched his jaw, his nails pressing into his skin, leaving dark, moon-shaped marks on it, ‘If you think that I’m-‘, ‘You’re going to marry her Levi’, Erwin interrupted him, ‘I don’t care that you don’t want to marry her, the Corps needs his money’. ‘Go to hell Erwin’, Levi turned around, ready to walk out the door.
Levi could see a girl yelling with tears in her eyes. Levi recognized the man the girl was yelling at. It was the same man that gave money to the Corps. Levi would recognize that fat pig everywhere.
‘I don’t want to marry him! You can’t choose whom I marry!’, you never felt so helpless. How could your father marry you to a stranger? ‘Y/N’, Levi could see the man raising his hand while looking out the window, ‘It’s not up for discussion. You’re marrying Levi Ackerman, just like your mother married me’. ‘And she lived a miserable life, up until the moment she died! You’re a monster!’, you whispered, tears streaming down your cheek. Suddenly you could feel your father grabbing your arm, pulling you closer to him, ‘Oh, hello Mr. Ackerman. What a pleasant surprise to see you here. I’m sorry, my daughter’s always been a bit rebellious’, you could hear your father chuckle, ‘I’m sure you know how women can be’.
Levi didn’t look at you, not once. You were standing next to your father, looking at the stranger who was soon going to be your husband. You could feel your stomach turning when you thought about how you were supposed to be the perfect wife, how you would need to please him, take care of him, wash his clothes, clean the room you two would share, … You never wanted this, but your father decided this for you and there was nothing you could do to change his mind.
‘Tch’, Levi looked at your father in disgust, you could see it in his eyes. Without saying anything else, Levi walked away. ‘Look what you did’, your father grabbed your arm again, pulling you behind him, ‘The poor man’s already running away from you’.
---
‘Mr. Ackerman’, you politely greeted him at your door, head slightly bent towards the ground before looking back up at him, but he didn’t respond. His gaze felt cold, it made you uncomfortable. ‘Y-you’re here for my father, right?’, you softly asked.
After you saw him coming out of Commander Erwin’s office, and you realized this was going to be your life, when you realized your future was already decided for you… You slowly accepted it. You could cry and beg all you wanted from your father, but it wouldn’t matter. You were going to marry that man, ‘world’s strongest soldier’, whether you knew him or not. You told yourself you would try your best, that you would make the most out of it.
‘Ai, so go on, tell one of your servants to call him’, his voice sounded degrading towards you. ‘I’m perfectly capable to call him myse-‘, ‘Miss L/N!’, you could hear Lina’s voice from behind you, ‘I’m sorry Miss, I didn’t hear someone knocking at the door’.
Lina was one of your family’s servants for years now. She was one of the oldest servants, and she practically raised you. You loved her, more than you loved your father, but you hated her for showing up at this moment.
‘It’s fine’, you smiled at her, ‘This is Mr. Ackerman’. ‘Oh, what a handsome man’, Lina sweetly smiled at you, ‘You’re lucky Miss L/N, I’m sure a lot of girls will be jealous’. ‘A-ai’, you looked at the ground, a sad look appeared on your face, but you quickly shook yourself out of it, forcing yourself to smile again. ‘Lina, can you please tell my father, Mr. Ackerman’s here? I’ll take him to the guest room’. ‘Of course Miss, I’ll let one of the other servants make some tea’, Lina bowed at you before heading towards your father’s office.
‘Tch’, Levi looked to the side while clenching his jaw, ‘What are you waiting for? Don't know your way around your own house? Do you need one of your servants to hold your hand?’, you could feel Levi’s shoulder brushing against yours.
It’s not like he pushed you, but you knew what he tried to make clear. He wanted to let you know how much he hated the noble people, how much he disgusted them… How much you disgusted him.
‘I’m sorry Mr. Ackerman’, you walked back in front of him, ‘This way’. You made sure you kept smiling, you didn’t want him to see how sad you were, how much it hurt you to marry someone who disgusted you.
You could feel his gaze burning in the back of your head until you reached the guest room.
‘Please’, you signaled to one of the luxurious chairs, ‘Make yourself comfort-‘, ‘I’m fine standing here’, his cold voice interrupted you. You firmly placed your lips on top of each other, stomach-turning at the thought you would need to marry him.
You could see memories of your mother crying, screaming at your dad about how much she hated him, how she wished she would rather be dead than be married to him. You could see yourself screaming at Levi, telling him how much he disgusted you. You could see yourself pulling out your hair in frustration, crying quietly to sleep every night.
‘Mr. Ackerman?’, you looked him into his eyes, ‘What?’, he spitted back at you. ‘I know you don’t want to marry me’, you nervously started tucking on the fabric of your dress, ‘But we’re going to spend our lives together… I see the way you look at me, the way you’re disgusted by me but-‘, Levi raised his hand, ‘Please stop, I don’t care. I would rather be a Titan’s next meal than listen to your bullshit. Just get your father, please’, Levi kept his eyes locked on yours, making sure every word was filled with loathing. ‘I’m going to end up like my mother’, you whispered to yourself, ‘What?’, Levi tilted his head. ‘Nothing, Mr. Ackerman, I’ll be heading towards my room. I’ll see you at the altar tomorrow’, you politely bowed before walking out the room. ‘Ah my sweet princess’, your father pushed you back inside, ‘Have you talked to your future husband?’, your father wrapped his arm around your shoulder, looking at Levi. ‘I’ve ordered every servant to make her as pretty as possible tomorrow, Mr. Ackerman,’ your father smiled at Levi, keeping his arm firmly wrapped around your shoulders. ‘Tch’, Levi looked disinterested at the play your father was performing, ‘Let’s just sign the papers’. ‘Oh right’, your father took his arm away from you, ‘Hup, go on dear, this is men’s business, no place for a woman’, your father opened the door for you, ‘Yes father’, you bowed once again, ‘Goodbye Mr. Ackerman’, you walked out the room without looking at Levi.
---
‘I do’, you softly whispered, trying your hardest not to cry. Levi was standing next to you, eyes locked on the ceiling.
After you said those words, you couldn't hear anything the priest said. Every breath felt as if you were being pushed down underwater. You were being trapped like a bird in a cage, being forced to whistle sweet songs for your owner, never able to leave that cage ever again.
‘Uhum’, you could hear the priest clearing his throat, ‘You may now kiss the bride’, he was looking awkwardly at Levi, waiting for him to do something. You looked down at the ground in shame.
You knew your dad would have talked to the Commander about this moment, you knew he expected him to kiss you. He expected the two of you to act like two lovebirds, to pretend you were smitten with each other. After all, the two of you had to keep the appearance up to his precious, noble guests.
‘Tch’, Levi turned around at you. His appearance looked cold, and uninterested, but his eyes looked uncomfortable. You could imagine how hard it must be for him. Everyone knew the Captain lived a reclusive life in the Corps. All the guests probably made him uneasy. You felt sorry for him. ‘It’s alright’, you whispered silent enough so that only the priest could hear you, ‘Just kiss my cheek, I’ll place my hand on the side that’s facing the guests. That way, it will look like we’re kissing each other’. His crescent-moon eyes looked tired, ‘Fine’.
You could hear everyone clapping, cheering when Levi kissed your cheek. You felt miserable. You were just married to a man who didn’t even want to kiss you, who could barely look at you. Now, you had to pretend for the rest of your life that you were happy. You already felt nervous about tonight. You didn’t know if he would expect you to share the bed with him, if he expected you to please him, to be obedient from now on. You didn’t know what he was like, if he was a caring person or not, if he acted differently in private. You didn’t know anything about him.
Levi held out his elbow to you. You softly placed your arm through his while holding your bouquet in the other. The two of you walked out of the church. Everyone was so happy for you, you could hear them talk to each other when you walked past them: ‘Oh look how beautiful they look together!’, ‘What a handsome man, she’s so lucky’, ‘Her dress is beautiful’. It made you even sicker.
No one knows how unhappy you two were with each other, how Levi couldn’t look at you, or how he looked at you on the rare occasions when he did.
Your dad was waiting outside, ready to help you into the carriage, ‘I’m sad you two didn’t want a big feast’, he smiled at Levi, ‘But I guess a soldier can never truly rest, can he?’, he laughed at his own ‘joke’. ‘Oh my sweet little girl’, your dad opened his arms, holding you close, ‘Your stuff’s already in the carriage, I’ve let the servants pack your jewels and some of your clothes. I guess that’s all you need, right?’. ‘Mom’s picture?’, you quietly asked. ‘Oh darling, that old picture? You don’t need that, I let the servants throw it away’. ‘Wh-what?’, you looked at your dad, ‘Off you go’, your dad pushed you towards the carriage, quickly grabbing a cigar from his pocket, placing it between his teeth, ‘Take good care of her’, your dad waved at Levi.
Levi tried his best not to punch him, to keep his composure. He wanted nothing more than to burn his eyes out with that damn cigar, to tell him what a lowlife he was. That he was a fat pig, a coward for living like royalty behind these walls, while good people, brave people, were dying outside, just to protect swine like him.
You tried your hardest not to cry, quickly getting into the carriage. Levi followed behind you. You were sitting next to each other, both trying not to touch each other. You couldn’t help but to place your hands in front of your face, to cry. You couldn’t fake it anymore, all the people, all the looks, how happy, no how lucky, they thought you were for marrying man’s strongest soldier.
Levi looked out the window of the carriage, trying his best not to feel sorry for you, but when he felt you trembling beside him, he did feel sorry.
‘Are you all right?’, his voice startled you. You quickly looked away from him, ‘I am, I’m just sad my mom wasn’t there to see me in my wedding dress’. It was the fastest lie you could come up with. Even though you felt sad your mom had passed away, that you couldn’t hold her anymore, you never wanted her to see you being forced into the same life as her. You knew she would’ve never let this happen.
Levi knew you were lying, but he didn’t want to give you the impression he cared. You were just another stuck-up brat that didn’t know anything about the world. You didn’t know how cruel it truly was. You didn’t know how many people were starving to death in the Underground, how many people were forced to steal, to sell their bodies to barely get by.
---
You could see the carriage riding through a gate, the moon was shining through the trees, giving light to the darkness. You dreaded this moment. The moment you needed to get out of the carriage in your wedding dress, the moment you needed to start your new life.
The carriage stopped, and Levi got out of the carriage without looking at you. He sighed, ‘Our room is on the second floor next to my office’. ‘A-aren’t you coming with me?’, you carefully asked, ‘No, you’ll find your way’, and just like that, he walked away.
You sighed. You knew he didn’t want this, but you couldn’t understand why he treated you like this. You knew he hated it that you were noble, that you were born with a golden spoon in your mouth, but you didn’t’ want this either. He could at least try to talk to you.
You noticed Levi (or someone else) had gotten your suitcase with your stuff in it. You couldn’t wait to get that cursed wedding dress from your body. You hated it. It was the ugliest thing you’d ever seen, but your father chose it, and his will was your command.
There was no one to be seen. You wondered where Levi went, if he was already in your room, but you doubted it. You walked up the stairs to the second floor. You looked for Levi’s office. It was the last door in the corridor, so you figured your room was the one next to it. You opened the door and walked inside, not bothering with how it looked. You could see your suitcase standing next to the bed, you immediately headed to the bathroom with it. You got out of your wedding dress and put on your nightgown.
You laid down in bed, completely covering yourself with the sheets, pulling them over your head. You wanted to disappear. You wondered if Levi would sleep in the same bed as you, and if he didn’t, whether he ever would. You managed to fall asleep fairly quickly.
‘H-huh?’, you grunted when you could feel someone laying down in the same bed as you. For a moment, you forgot that you were now married and that you were living together with Levi. ‘Tch, I know you’re probably used to a bigger bed princess, but you’re sharing one with me now, so move’. You immediately crawled to the edge of the bed, almost falling off it, but you didn’t want to touch him, to feel his body against yours.
Levi could feel you tremble again, he wondered why you did that.
‘What’s wrong? Are the sheets not soft or warm enough for your liking?’, his voice sounded harsh. You closed your eyes, you felt bad enough already, he didn’t need to kick you when you were down. ‘I-I’m sorry, Mr. Ackerman, I-I’m not used to sleeping with someone else’. ‘I know you people have all those rules on how to address someone, but stop calling me that, it’s Levi’, you could feel him turning his back towards you, ‘Stop shaking, I want to get some sleep’. ‘Goodnight’, you softly replied, wondering if he always came to bed this late at night.
---
Levi had been in his office all day, you, on the other hand, hadn’t left the room yet. You could hear Commander Erwin entering and leaving Levi’s office throughout the day.
‘L-levi?’, you softly knocked on his office door. You heard him sighing, ‘What?’. ‘Can I come in?’, your hands were trembling, you prayed you didn’t drop the tea you were holding. ‘What do you want?’, he sounded agitated. You slowly opened the door, eyes fixed on the ground, ‘I-I brought you some tea… I couldn’t find the kitchen at first, but one of your cadets pointed me the way.. I believe his name was Jean, he seemed like a nice kid’. You walked over to his desk, hands still shaking when you placed the tea in front of him. ‘He told me you liked black tea, so I hope you like i-‘, ‘I didn’t ask for tea’, he tilted his head. ‘I know you didn’t b-‘, ‘Look’, he interrupted you again, ‘We don’t need to do this. You don’t need to play the perfect wife. I’m sure you learned a lot while ordering your servants around, but I don’t need a servant, I can make tea myself’. You sighed, ‘C-can I take a walk outside?’. ‘You can take a horse and ride back to your precious life behind the walls, or you can even go outside the walls for all I care. That way, you’ll see how cruel life is’. ‘I just wanted to bring you some tea’, you replied softly, looking at the tea on his desk, ‘You’ve been locked up in your office the entire day, I don’t want you to overwork yourself’. ‘Just leave’, Levi replied coldly, ‘As I said before, we don’t need to keep this act up. The only thing we need to share is our bed. I don’t want to talk to you, and I don’t want you to talk to me, I just want you to keep yourself busy and let me work in peace’.
You nodded before turning around and walking back to your room.
---
A month passed, and you started to get used to living at Headquarters with Levi. Even though Levi still didn’t talk to you, you got to know the cadets and Hange. You started helping around in the kitchen, cooking food for the cadets, you helped them with their dirty clothes, … It was not like you had anything else to do.
It was 7 PM, and Levi still hadn’t left his office. You always brought him tea around this hour, even though he kept telling you to stop.
‘Levi? I’ve got tea for you’, you knocked before opening his door. ‘H-huh?’, you widened your eyes when you could see him laying with his head on his desk, eyes closed while his hands were resting on the papers that were sloppily spread out on his desk. You remembered you couldn’t feel him laying down next to you at night, but you just thought you slept through it. You carefully placed the tea on his desk. Now that he was sleeping, you looked at the man you were married to. People were right, he was good-looking. Even now, with his mouth slightly open and his messy hair. You carefully took a piece of paper and the pen that was laying on his desk. You placed a note underneath the teapot, making sure he would see it when he woke up. After that, you left, hoping you could spend some time with Hange.
---
‘Shit’, Levi sighed while rubbing through his eyes. His vision was still blurry. ‘Good job, Levi, now you have even more work’, he murmured to himself. He could see the teapot on his desk. He rolled his eyes when he saw the note, ‘What’s this?’. He grabbed the note and started reading it: ‘Brought your usual tea, but you were sleeping. Please take care of yourself, Levi. You’re overworking yourself. – Y/N’.
He wanted to sigh, to roll his eyes again, but for some reason, a small smile appeared on his face. Levi had noticed how you helped in the kitchen, how much Hange liked you, how you always took it upon yourself to wash the dishes. He even started to look forward to you bringing his tea in the evening, or how you would make sure the bed was properly made every night… Or how you made sure his uniform was clean and laid out on the table so that when he got up in the morning it was ready for him to wear.
Levi slowly got up from his desk. It was already 3 AM, he sighed when he saw the time. He walked to the room you both shared. Levi noticed you would still cover yourself completely under the sheets, hiding from him as much as possible. Levi carefully laid down underneath the covers next to you, trying not to wake you up.
‘I’ve asked Hange if she could take over your reports’, you whispered from under the covers, ‘You don’t have to work tomorrow’.
Levi closed his eyes, he started to understand you were not like the other noble people, that you did care about others and not only about yourself, as your father did.
‘Thank you’, he replied coldly, turning his back towards you.
You crawled up into a little ball, you were so tired of sleeping in the same bed with someone who barely spoke or looked at you.
‘Would you like to go to the city tomorrow?’, Levi’s voice sounded softer than usual. ‘H-huh?’, you slowly relaxed your body, ‘Alone?’. ‘No, together, with me’. ‘I promised your cadets that I would cut their hair tomorrow’, you whispered. ‘Hair?’, Levi looked over his shoulder. He could see how small you had made yourself. ‘Ai’, you whispered, ‘Jean wants to grow his hair, but it looks like shit’. You could hear Levi chuckle at your response, ‘It does’. ‘Would you like to have breakfast in the morning together?’, you could feel your heart racing. ‘Fine, but we’re having breakfast in our room’. ‘R-really?’, you slowly looked over your shoulder, not knowing Levi was still looking at you. When you noticed, you immediately looked away again. It was the first time you ever caught Levi looking at you. ‘I’ll take care of it’, Levi whispered while letting his head rest on his pillow again. ‘N-no, it’s the least I can do-‘, ‘Huh? The least you can do?’, Levi turned around to face you, ‘You don’t owe me anything, I haven’t done anything for you’. ‘That’s not true’, you started playing with the fabric of your pillow, ‘You’re working day and night, taking care of your cadets, just like Hange.. I don’t do anything, and I still get fed, I have a nice bed to sleep in, I can drink as much tea as I want, I have the time to read books… All that while everyone’s training, or working’, you let out a sigh. ‘I thought you missed living in that palace of yours’, Levi could feel his brows frown in confusion.
Levi never expected you to be like this. He expected you to whine all the time, to complain about how you missed your old life, that you couldn’t take care of yourself, let alone others.
‘I hated it there’, your voice broke, so you quickly cleared your throat to try and cover it up. ‘Many people would give everything to switch places with you’, ‘They don’t’ know anything’, you whispered. ‘What happened to your mom?’, his question made you tense up. ‘S-she killed herself’, you could feel a lump in your throat.
Levi was the first person you told the truth to. Your father and Lina were the only people who know what happened.
‘Why?’. At first, you thought his question was rude, but then you realized it was his way of trying to get to know you, even if it was in the middle of the night. ‘Because she couldn’t live under the tyranny of my father anymore… She was also forced to marry him’. ‘I’m sorry’, Levi sounded understanding. His voice soothed you. ‘No, it’s f-‘, ‘You must feel terrible with everything that has happened’. ‘So do you’, you shrugged your shoulders, ‘Neither of us wanted this’. ‘No, but I can’t complain’, Levi turned back around, ‘You’re doing nice things for me… Always taking care of me, even when I barely spoke to you’. ‘I like doing those small things for you’. Levi sighed into his pillow, ‘Goodnight kid’.
---
‘Y/N?’, you could hear Levi’s voice, his hand was resting on your shoulder, ‘Hm?’, you slowly opened your eyes. ‘Breakfast’s ready’, Levi walked away from the bed. You slowly sat up straight, still yawning. ‘Here’, you could see Levi approaching with a tray, ‘I have some tea, and I noticed you don’t eat breakfast, so I made you a fruit bowl’. ‘Y-you made that for me?’, you widened your eyes, slowly grabbing the tray from Levi, ‘Thank you’, you smiled at him. Suddenly, you could hear someone knocking at your door. ‘Who’s there?’, Levi sighed, ‘Sasha Sprouse Captain!’, you could hear her voice coming from behind the door. Levi opened the door, ‘What’s so important that you’re coming here instead of my office?’. Levi didn’t look very amused. ‘I’m sorry Captain, but I came for Y/N’, she saluted him, ‘She told us she was going to cut our hair in the morning, but it’s almost noon’. ‘What?’, you immediately put the bowl on your nightstand, it’s noon?’, you looked at Levi. ‘Y/N!’, Sasha waived at you, ‘Everyone’s waiting!’. ‘I’m so sorry’, you quickly got out of bed, ‘I’ll be there in a couple of minutes, okay?’, you smiled at her. ‘Ai, thank you!’, Sasha saluted her Captain again before leaving.
Levi stood there with a confused look on his face. He couldn’t believe how informal Sasha acted towards you.
‘I can’t remember the last time I slept until noon’, you mumbled to yourself. ‘I’m sorry’, Levi quickly closed the door, ‘You were sleeping so peacefully, and I kept you up at night… I thought you could use some extra sleep’. ‘No, it’s fine, don’t apologize’, you got out of bed, ‘I’ll be dressing myself now’, you looked at the ground, hoping Levi would get the hint. ‘O-oh yes, of course’, Levi awkwardly replied, unsure of what to do next.
He never felt like this. You made him doubt himself, his actions. He didn’t know if he should leave the room entirely, if he should just turn around, or if you wanted him to do nothing. After all, the two of you were married, and maybe you’d expected him to tell you how beautiful you were. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that you were beautiful. Even when Levi thought you were a stuck-up brat, he still thought you were beautiful. You were the kind of girl that would look amazing even if you wore a burlap sack as a dress. Every man looked at you when you walked past them, wishing they would have a girl like you to call theirs. ‘And here am I’, Levi thought to himself, ‘I’m married to her, and I can’t even find the courage to give her a compliment’, Levi gritted his teeth together.
‘L-levi?’, you softly asked, ‘If you don’t mind, I would like to dress myself’. ‘Yes, I’m sorry’, Levi slowly turned around.
He could hear you undressing. The sound of your clothes dropping onto the ground made him curious. Levi never really paid attention to your body, but his mind started to wonder what you looked like. He carefully turned his head over his shoulder, hoping you wouldn’t notice.
You could hear Levi gasp, ‘Huh?’, you looked up at him. You could see him looking you up and down. ‘Levi!’, you quickly placed your arms around your body, waiting for him to look away, but he didn’t. You could feel your cheeks getting red, ‘Levi you’re making me feel uncomfortable’, you looked at the ground. Suddenly you could see Levi shaking himself out of the trance he was in. ‘I’m sorry’, he shook his head, quickly turning back around again, ‘You’re really beautiful’, you could see him placing his hand behind his neck, softly massaging it.
You didn’t respond. You got dressed as quickly as you could.
‘I’m dressed’, you whispered, ‘I’m going to your cadets’, you walked past him. You could feel him softly grabbing your wrists before you walked out the door. ‘I would love to spend some time together when you’re done’, Levi’s eyes had an insecure look in them. You looked at his hand on your wrist, it was the first time he touched you. ‘I-if you want you can come with me?’, Levi tilted his head, ‘It’s my day off, you know that right?’, he chuckled, ‘I think I could use some r-‘, once again someone knocked on the door. ‘What?’, Levi said, even more agitated. ‘Y/N?’, you could hear Sasha’s voice again. ‘Tch brat’, Levi swung the door open, ‘If I ever catch you knocking on this door ag-‘, you placed your hand on Levi’s arm, ‘What’s wrong Sasha? I’m coming’, you smiled at her. ‘Y/N, it’s Eren and Jean again, they’re fighting. You need to calm them down again’. You shook your head, rubbing your forehead with the palm of your hand, ‘What happened this time?’, you walked outside the door without saying goodbye to Levi.
Levi stood there. He didn’t know what he just saw. Sasha completely ignored him, and on top of that, Sasha asked you to calm down Eren and Jean? ‘What happened over the past few weeks’, Levi mumbled to himself before he went after you.
---
You could see Jean and Eren screaming at each other, causing you to let out a disappointing sigh.
‘Eren, Jean!’, you raised your voice, ‘Stop fighting, I’m getting sick of it!’.
When the two boys saw you walking towards them, they immediately started talking at the same time, blurting out everything the other did wrong.
You chuckled at the sight of them, ‘Please’, you raised your hands, ‘One at a time’. ‘Eren said I have a horse-face’, Jean gave Eren an angry look through the corner of his eyes. ‘But Jean says I’m a suicidal blockhead’, Eren gritted through his teeth.
You could see the other cadets sitting on the ground, looking at the two boys. You noticed they were tired of their fights too, all of them sighing, shaking their hands, brushing through their hair in agitation.
Levi could see you talking to Eren and Jean. He was impressed with how quickly you could calm them down without kicking their asses.
---
‘So, are you going to be nice to each other from now on?’, you smiled at them. ‘A-ai’, Eren replied, while Jean nodded at you. ‘Good’, you brushed through their hair, ‘Now, who wants a haircut?’. ‘Oh I do!’, ‘Me too!’, ‘Hey, don’t forget me!’, you could hear the other cadets running towards you.
Levi couldn’t help but smile when he saw how much his cadets cared about you and how much they liked you.
‘Oi’, Levi kept walking towards you and his cadets, ‘Hm?’, you turned around while smiling at Levi. ‘She’s going to cut my hair first’, Levi smirked. ‘W-what?’, you tilted your head, ‘I thought you cut your own hair?’. ‘That’s not fair!’, Eren cried out. Levi looked at his cadet with his cold gaze, ‘Did you say something Yeager?’, he titled his head. ‘N-no Captain’, Eren nervously shook his head, ‘That’s what I thought’, Levi smirked before softly grabbing your hand, ‘I trust you, but if you ruin my hair…’, he smirked at you, ‘Psh, don’t worry’, you waved his concerns away, ‘I’ll make sure you look great’.

After that day, the two of you got closer. Another couple of weeks went by, and Levi started to develop feelings for you. He hated himself for acting the way he did. If he only took the time to get to know you, he would’ve noticed how great you were.
You were stroking through Levi’s hair, his head was resting on your lap. ‘Hm, I love it when you do this’, Levi placed his arms tighter around your waist, his voice sounding tired, ‘You make me so calm’. ‘That’s great’, you whispered.
You had developed the habit of stroking through Levi’s hair until he fell asleep. You worried about him and his sleeping habits. At first, it seemed as if he never slept.
‘Y/N?’, Levi turned around on his back, so that he could look at you, ‘Yes?’. ‘We still haven’t shared a single kiss’. You could feel you started to blush, you let out a soft ‘Hm’. Levi got up from your lap, placing his forehead against yours. You could feel his nose touching yours, causing you to smile. He carefully placed a hand on your cheek, ‘I hope you don’t mind, but this is long overdue’.
You could feel his lips against yours. You never had a more perfect kiss. It felt as if you’d kissed him a thousand times before.
Levi slowly pulled away, his crescent-shaped eyes were looking into yours, ‘I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you’.
