Looking For Peace So much running through our minds. Trying to survive these hard times. The state of humanity isn’t kind. Dealing with the rise of all this crime. People are filling the struggles. So they fade away back into their bubbles. The world that we’re in is not safe. Everyone is wanting a better place. This torment we don’t want anymore. Because peace is what we’re looking for. A lot of us just want to get away. We want to have a relaxing place to stay. It would be nice to have a vacation. Somewhere without our crazy situations. Dealing with all this can get you depressed. There should be some type of outlet to deal with our stress. Don’t forget your much needed rest. The sun will still rise from the east to the west. Sometimes we stare quietly looking at the sea shore. Because peace is what we’re looking for. Let us take time to sit back and reflect. Don’t always do for others but yourself you neglect. One Day One day everything will fall into place. I’ll make it to my goals winning this race. God will say well done when I see his face. Completing all that’s set before me to chase. Times are Hard This world needs God 'cause times are hard. Peoples hearts are growing cold. No one wants to care anymore. The evilness of this world is a heavy load. Peace and safety is what most are looking for. The military is low manned and over worked. It's leadership treats them like dirt. Our loved ones are going to war being killed and hurt. Little girls are having babies born. Little boys are taking little girls to rape. Little kids having sex is becoming the norm. Now that kids know many don't care to wait. The family is falling apart. Good relationships are coming to an end. Folks are holding bitterness in their hearts. More and more are tossed to and fro with the wind. This world needs God 'cause times are hard. Peoples jobs are being losts. Gas prices are too high. Oil companies profit from its cost. Our own nation's leaders continue to lie. Hate crimes are on the rise. Racism is still alive. The state of the world is realy sad. These last days we live in are realy bad. Many earthquakes in different places. Tsunamis have flooded sea shores. Tornados and hurricanes have swept across the land. In the future we can expect more. What's up with this crazy weather? I know this chaos won't last forever. So much to worry about today. This is How I Feel!!! All these feelings inside me I just can’t hide. This passion within will never end. Certain memories in my mind pushing me to stand on my grind. Strong Enough Working hard all the time. Pushing forward to not fall behind. Situations heavy on your mind. On that edge of crossing the line. Everyone’s trying to make it. The Color of Our Skin Will the killings ever end based on the color of our skin?! Could my life be taken down just because my skin is brown?! We have to address what caused this racist mess. To deal with our distress sins must be confessed. There should be no excuse to continue with the abuse. Our opinions shouldn’t be held back to acknowledge murderous acts. Someone died again just because of the color of our skin! It’s a sad day when lives are unjustly taken away. When victims are senselessly slayed then justice should be repaid. A people shouldn’t have to be afraid that unfairly they’re dead 6 feet in the grave. Everyone should feel okay with wherever they choose to stay.
