Ellie opened the door and stood back, holding the shovel like a baseball bat. When the babysitter came towards her Ellie swung it, taking off its head. She got a bit of blood onto her face. She dropped the shovel and wiped her face with her sleeve and caught her breath.

"Alright. You can look now." She looked back up to the tree house. "You ever gonna come down from there kid?"

Ellie felt a feeling in her gut, knowing what it was like being on her own while the dead were out walking the streets. She looked into the house and didn’t see anything, but then a dead girl ran up against the window, knocking her to her butt.

"Holy fuck!" She shouted from the ground. The girl was trying to get to her but she couldn’t because she was behind the window.

"So I’m guessing this is the babysitter?" She asked.
