"I-I can feel something... sinister at the top."
[OOC under cut]
Hi, @elesdecroisa here, and this is the blog for my Slay the Spire/Slay the Spire 2 OC, The Dryad. She has existed since Slay the Spire 1 days, and got her a sts2 design right after the game was confirmed. But back then there was nothing much to build her upon and now that StS2 is out, I'm pretty sure I will have to take time polishing her.
Unlike some other communities I'm in, Slay the Spire doesn't seem to have that many OCs around, so sometimes I'm a bit lost, please bear with me on that.
Rules for RP:
Stay civil. All forms of hate speech/harassment/other foul behaviors towards real people are strictly prohibited here.
Smut-related NSFW is heavily restricted. Blood/gore/death/etc. are completely fine.
All canon characters and OCs are welcome.
Please note that any form of unhealthy/toxic rivalry and one-upping is prohibited. These asks may be answered for roleplay continuity, but with a direct warning in the tags. Feel free to explain your case in DMs.
And most importantly, have fun!
So, a few basic information about the Dryad for easier roleplay:
(2nd image taken from VRoid Hub. Her dress is short because I want to show the gradient and wood transition on her limbs, and emphasize her height increase compared to her StS1 design. Plus, she pretty much stands still in combat anyway.)
The Dryad is a tree nymph who went very ill from the Blight in StS1 (hence why she's in black and all withered). In StS2, she basically got rid of the Blight in her, but it has caused irreversible damage to her health. So she is relatively weak physique-wise.
Based on the Greek Mythology version of dryads, she's very shy and benevolent. She came to the Spire at first to seek a cure for herself, and now she returns after feeling the corruption again.
She is based on the Druid class, most notably her nature-attuned power.
Her power is based on plants, especially thorny vines. She will have a lot of Thorns-related buffs, a lot of Strength Down for enemies as well as some sort of DoT (it's not immediate HP loss, but works more like the Constricted debuff).
However, she also debuffs herself by reducing her Max HP. This usually just lasts in the combat and it can't be abused to heal from Max HP gain, with a few actually takes away her permanent Max HP.
Have a good day!
