EIFS-Stucco typically needs a refreshment or re/coating every 10-20 years (depending on many facotors such as trees being near the property, weather and etc.). With that said, this project was a 30+ year old EIFS done without air barrier and without drainage behind the insulation boards. EIFS has advanced soo much in the years, so we had to bring this to date. Many areas were removed because of mould and water getting in behind, so we replaced it with proper STO Therm CI system, and the areas that were good, got cleaned first and 2 coat application of STO Lotusan EIFS paint. This product is proven to repel dirt.
