Modern Feminism Ruined Intelligence.

So, my sister is by far smarter than me. She's suspected to have an incredibly high IQ, got a scholarship to a private school and she currently wants to be a doctor. She's way smarter than most people out there, by far. I'm not unintelligent either, so yesterday we were having a debate on the subject of the supposed 'wage gap' between men and women, which whilst I agree exists, is taken out of context a lot, due to the nature of the wage gap, which is that men as a percentage, have higher earning professions that women, as they trained to do that. Although this isn't a post about that, you can take what you want from that, I don't want to debate it right now. However, what made me realise that modern feminism ruins intelligent people, is that my sister went on to say (when it had nothing to do with the conversation) "but what about rape?"... Feminism uses this argument far too much online. I asked her what she meant and all we had to say was something along the lines of "but rape exists and men do it more than women" which means absolutely nothing to an argument about the wage gap, however modern feminism has drilled this argument in so much, that it no longer has any meaning and is just an awful attempt at a 'trump card' in debates about women's rights/men's right/general rights of people. So, instead of my sister learning real arguments and coming up with a good way to debate, she simply spouts modern feminist crap found online, written by non-reliable sources. So yes, modern feminism ruins what could be intelligent argument.

Motorbikes.

So I’m determined to start riding a motorbike over the summer, get all my tests passed and have my own bike before Christmas. Can’t wait to be able to drive around and actually have an exhilarating feeling from it. Driving a car is just so boring, it’s simple, easy and there’s really not much fun involved in it. Riding a bike on the other hand just feels so much more free and fun. It won’t be that easy to learn I’m sure, but I think I’d be able to get it down easy enough through driving for a while and also the wheelchair sports, funnily enough.  Also bikes just look so much prettier than cars, I find. Even reasonably cheap bikes look nice and it’s going to be awesome riding around on something that actually makes me feel a little more alive.

I really need to stop drinking, all it does is exaggerate feelings. Half the stuff that goes on I just end up getting even more pissed at. However, it does help numb things, in a way...

Getting On.

This is my 75th Tumblr Post and it’s one of the most boring posts I’ve done. Even more boring than my constant depressing ramblings. Why did I post it? because I’m drunk and why not. Bring on post 100.

Alcohol.

Alcohol is a depressant, it’s bad for your liver and shouldn’t be mixed with any other drugs and shouldn’t be drank by anyone in a bad place. But ah well, isn’t it fucking awesome?!  Alcohol helps you to feel like there really isn’t a care in the world, despite the fact that your life could suck more than anything. Everyone’s problems are relative, we’re not here to discuss that. However, no matter what the problems, alcohol is something you can always turn to, to feel as if there just aren’t any issues. I used to have an issue with other drugs, but now all I need is that sweet nectar that is alcohol. Without it I’d no idea where I’d be, without it I’d be going insane right now.  But, for sake of everything, alcohol is a coping mechanism that works very well no matter what. I’ll carry on drinking it as long as it carries on numbing me.

Why?

Why does nothing work the way it should? Why is it that when the effort is actually put it and people work their arse off for something does it not happen? I swear, when I don’t try or when I act minimally, things go better. When I act like a cunt, things go better than when I try and be a good and real person. I’m going to continue being a wanker, as it’s a much better way to be. When I was a twat I never got upset, so therefore I should continue to be that way, as I’ll never get hurt.  Good to finally realise this is the better way to be, I should have never changed my opinion on it, what a muppet I was.

Doing What You Want.

I agree, you should be able to do whatever the fuck you want. But in doing so, you’ve got to accept that you cause collateral damage and if people have problems with that you’ve got to be man enough to deal with that. If you’ve got the attitude of doing whatever you want because it makes you feel good, you can’t complain when people get upset. If you act in a way that’s completely focused on making sure you can do whatever, whenever, then you can’t expect people to always respect that and be okay with that, because then you become selfish. I do whatever I want, but when people leave my life because of that, I understand it was my own doing and I have no right to expect them to stick around through my bullshit.

Clarification.

People do suck, they really do. But half the time people don’t even realise what affect they have on the people around them or the emotions they cause, meaning sometimes when they screw people over, they do it without any real knowledge at all. So whilst you can say it might not be their fault, I think it makes it all the worse feeling, knowing that those who mean so much don’t even seem to understand you as much as you had thought, or hoped. Maybe people don’t mean to suck or try not to suck, but they do. They really do...

Why People Suck.

Everyone sucks. You, me, your friends, their friends, their friends friends, everyone. Know why? Doesn't matter how ‘nice’ a certain person is, they’re gonna do something to completely screw over another human being at one point in their life. Every person, despite what they may claim, only acts in a way that makes themselves feel good, or benefits them. People may say they care or that they do everything so that others are okay, but it’s certainly not true. In fact, people just do whatever the hell they want so that everything is okay for them. People don’t even think when they act, they just do and don’t care about the collateral damage they cause, it’s apparent throughout humanity and throughout every act any person you or I have ever known. People are capable of good, people sometimes act in a way that benefits you, but only if there’s something to gain for themselves. The problem is that when they do this they lead you into a false sense of security for the friendship/relationship/whatever but eventually they’re gonna screw you, no matter what it may do to you. Ultimately it doesn't matter what you do or how you act or even how good of a person you try to be, because eventually you’re going to screw somebody over without even your knowledge and eventually you’re going to get screwed over by someone. This could be someone you don’t expect, don’t want to believe could or someone you gave everything to. Unfortunately people are selfish and over the course of an ‘Nth’ amount of time, you will be screwed over or screw someone over. Get used to it.

Tattoo Artist Needed!

Any tattoo artists/artists/causal drawers/people that want to draw something/etc out there! I have an idea for a tattoo and I wanted to know if anyone fancied drawing something up! It's not too complicated!! If anyone could do a browning sycamore leaf, with a tawny owl inside it. Anyone up for that? Much appreciated if so! Will repay in following and eternal gratitude.
