I was asked to design an interior and create two sculptures for the entrance. It’s for a penthouse in Switzerland. It was a great opportunity to think about architecture, sculpture and how they can relate to each other in this project. I also included some of the sketches. Let’s see how thinks will move on. Scotland's Three Castings - Visualisation (2), montage A complete new understanding of sculpture: Aerial photography is the starting point for this series. It's selection depends on the geographical position. The objects developed from this are to be placed in the corresponding landscape. The polygonal structure of the works, visible at closer look, will raise questions about digitality in art and in social processes in general. The interaction of the various objects in the landscape will lead to a more intense examination of the surface structures. I understand the work 'Scotland's Three Castings' as a result of a materialisation of continuous scanning and surveying processes in the concretely perceptible space.
