Homosexuality explained in a German Children’s Book

Technically the cover story from “Lois Lane” #47 (February 1964) is not an imaginary tale but it’s pretty close. In the story Superman takes Lois to the Fortress of Solitude where she uses a super-computer to predict what her life would have been like if she had come to Earth from Krypton instead of Superman.

The computer spins an elaborate story where Lois become Krypton Girl. human Clark Kent pesters her by trying to discover her secret identity. Even after she quits her job at the Daily Planet, Clark follows her. Finally Clark succeeds - he acquired from Red Kryptonite and sprinkles some of its dust on Lois. Later as Krypton Girl she turns into a 20 foot giant. Fed up with Clark’s antics, she sends him into the Phantom Zone to get rid of him.

You’d think Lois might have learned a lesson but I’m sure she didn’t.

An interesting element of the story is that Krypton Girl was also a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes and get help from Night Girl in the story.
