The minute you think of giving up, think of the reason why you held on so long.

To hell with anyone who tells you differently.

if you're a student at all, please take care of yourself. you don't need to compete with your classmates for who slept the least or who drank the most coffee. eat breakfast and go to sleep a little earlier. lay off studying for a night and do something nice for yourself. your body and brain will thank you.
Day 1
To be honest, I was not as productive as I had hoped today. I had a lot of trouble focussing on my work, but I guess all beginnings are difficult. Still, I had a good day (as you can see I had apple pie and tea so I can not complain 😉). Tomorrow is another day!
Tomorrow I travel to my uni, so I better get some sleep now.
Goodnight ☺️
A study tip:
This has been said before, but I feel it needs emphasising because it’s something I repeat to myself several times a day if I’m feeling overwhelmed.
The only way things will get done is if you start. The only way it will get easier is if you do it. The only way you will improve is if you accept that you do not yet know everything.
I’m a perfectionist and a procrastinator, so it’s hard for me to start if I feel I might not be perfect. If I tell myself this, it’s easier to pick up the pen and actually do something.
Okay here we gooo
Tomorrow I start week 5 of the schoolyear already. I decided to start sharing my work, I kind of challenged myself to do extra good. So tomorrow is day 1 of that promise to myself. I am proud of how far I have already come, but now it is time to keep going :). Off course, corona really changed the year I was hoping to be so fun, but I know we are all in this together! I believe this will be a good productive (and still fun) year, Feel free to join me on this trip :) My goal is to be a better student, but also in general: a better human being. A happy ambitious soul. Studying, not only to get good grades, but also to have a better understanding of this world so we can use this knowledge to help each other.
Okay I think my speech is already long enough now :p
Science is fun. Science is curiosity. We all have natural curiosity. Science is a process of investigating. It’s posing questions and coming up with a method. It’s delving in.

More for you here, my friend.
"One of the most prevalent obstacles in our ability to heal and self-actualise is when our productivity is tied to our worthiness."
I think the studyblr community especially needs to hear this. You don't have to be productive all the time, you need rest. Recovering from internalised capitalism means unpicking all the messages from family, friends, school and workplace that have reinforced the idea that you are a commodity, and that your worth is based on what you do. Your worth is inherent.
