romeo romeo
where the fuck is you, romeo
Fuck you, the original line in Romeo and Juliet is “Wherefore art thou”. And maybe if you stopped being an assumption-making bag of fucking asshole, you’d know that wherefore does NOT FUCKING MEAN “WHERE”, WHEREFORE MEANS “WHY”.
SHE’S ASKING WHY HIS NAME IS ROMEO. FUCK ALL OF YOU. FUCK ALL OF YOU HARD UP THE TOENAIL. I TAKE MY SHAKESPEARE SERIOUSLY AS TITS.
romeo romeo
why the fuck is you romeo
romeo romeo How do you even romeo?
I'm doing these things right now and I'm pretty happy with stuff. =D
My desk today
1000 words today!
I finished 1000 words of my dissertation. Until now it had been sitting as a plan over bits of paper, bullet points and paragraphs of waffle. I'm glad I did them it's making now easier. The goal is 500 a day. That is nothing considering most of it is waffle. I'm so proud of myself. I might celebrate with a dairy milk, who even knows.
New Year, New Haircut, Same Old Library... and my first library selfie of the year!
Study tip: Review your flashcards right before you go to bed and just after you wake up (or after your first cup of coffee, let’s be real). It gets them out of the way for the day and the routine helps you remember them!
Sometimes I look at lovely study desks and get jealous of paper. Recently there's been food in the photos....
And all I can think is. 'where dez bitches findings time to cut up fruit?'
I'm happy if I can be arsed to milk my coffee!
Guilty pleasures! My essentials last Friday night while revising for my Philosophy finals.
This photo gives me pen lust.
Yesterday I casually crocheted some mittens just because I fancied black ones. Today I am super cosy. 😊
I’ve been thinking. Exams and new terms are coming in January. We all like to have a pick-me-up or something nice to look forward to to motivate us through the exam period. What if we did a kind of studyblr gift exchange?
Like people could send little notebooks or cute bits of stationary at the...
I think this idea is cute. Who doesn't love notebooks... or owls.... or notebooks with owls on them.... OR OWLS WITH NOTEBOOKS.
All these are important. I'd add 1) Big Cosy Blanket Scarf- Good for wrapping up in when the library turns on the blower. 2) Study Buddy- Hours are long. Study is dull. Coffee is always best with a pal. <3
Why Schedules aren't the be all end all...
I like looking at pictures of study desks, but there is a feature that freaks me out. Schedules, all coloured in and looking imposing. I've never stuck to schedules well. The idea of having to pee at an allocated time in amoung reading certain books by a certain time never does me any good. This said, everything I need to get done is done on time. So there must be a way apart from schedules. I'm not saying they don't work, I'm just saying that there is more than one way of doing things. I have a few issues with them: 1- Time it takes to make it- so you've been spending an hour deciding your life events for the next week, an hour that could have been spent doing something else. 2- Life happens- things get in the way, things crop up, you remember something, someone asks you to do something, or maybe you aren't feeling 100%.
Between the 2 I find it impossible to do an hour by hour schedule. Instead of planning life out, why not stick to the main points? 1- When is the latest something needs done by? 2- What do I need to ACTUALLY do today? I stick to this. I wake up and make my little to do list of things (washing, tidy up, ch.4 of some book, 500 words on something and so on) and that way I still get things done but can roll with them at the pace that fits the day. That way if I get a call at a time I'm supposed to do something I don't freak out. I can take said call and carry on with life, I know what I need to do. Your schedules are beautiful tumblr. They are... but I'm still unconvinced they are the be all end all. I just hope ya'll are having a good time and not stressing. Keep going! We can do it!** **Whatever it is... YEAH WE CAN!
Reblog this post if you're a Studyblr!
I’ll follow you, I need motivation and inspiration.
I'm a studyblr I think.... I use tumblr for motivational study stuff. In fact I'm on right now to look at pictures of paper and books before I go and sit at my desk covered in paper and books. Viva la studyblrs.
This reaches out to me, puts its hand on my shoulder and makes me feel ok.
After always getting so jealous of everyone else's study desks, here is my 8am library effort
