hey all! this blog has been a lil absent in recent months, but i’ve decided to re-awaken it!

i’m looking for new followers, and plan on being a lot more active in the studyblr community this time around, so please! feel free to message me, send asks, start a conversation!

for new followers, here’s a lil introduction:

- my name’s marian :)

- i’m 21, and a senior in college

- this is a sideblog, so i follow from my main account @tequilamerlin

- some of my interests are writing, cross-stitch, films/tv, and feminism

- but academically i really enjoy environmental policy/law, english literature, and italian language!

- religiously i am all over the place lol i fall somewhere between catholicism and pagan druidism.

i’m excited to track my progress, both personal and academic, here this semester!

pray. it doesn't have to be eloquent. you don't need a whole hour. sometimes all it takes is "help me please" under your breath as you try to navigate through your difficult day. sometimes words don't come when the pain is too heavy, but the Spirit understands. sometimes it looks like crying and all the words you can muster up to say is "You know... You know." and that is okay. He still says, "Come to Me."

come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden, I will give you rest.

come to the throne of grace, where you can receive mercy and find grace in your time of need.

cast all your cares upon Him, because He cares for you.

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

over and over in Scripture, God beckons us: come! come to the throne! don't carry this on your own, come to Me! I will give you grace. I will give you wisdom. I will strengthen you.

what mercies we have in Christ! that we can come to the King of Kings any time of the day with our request, and He listens! truly He gives us all that we need and more. we are never in lack, but there is grace upon grace upon grace.

Trying to stay positive while reviewing for my zoology exam tomorrow. Thankfully I'm pretty chill, I know I studied well and I remember almost everything.

Right now I'm just rereading some notes, highliting in red and green to see what I need to revise before jumping into the big review process which is repeating everything out loud and making some outlines of all the topics 🐌

Yet another night of bad sleep, and it was possibly the worst in the past couple of weeks. I am struggling quite a bit ngl. I have no idea how I'll manage next week with classes and all. The plan is to get some study done this morning, and then I'll see if I need to take the afternoon off. That will be a last minute decision depending on how I feel. I'd like to at least finish reading the first macro chapter of the anthropology book I have to study, but I am not sure I'll manage to actually finish it today. Hopefully I can get some work done despite everything.

On today's to do list:
