This blog is a project of mine where I share little aspects of my hobbies and interests! From music, food, motivating quotes, and Pinterest icons to school advice & studying tips/motivation for students; all of my passions are displayed here!

This blog is meant to be a sort of reflection of myself, and hopefully, a safe space for people to connect and bond over these same interests!

I expect to post short thoughts, rambles, pieces of advice for high school students, and other passions of mine, so feel free to interact and ask anything about school, studying, or start light-hearted discussions over other hobbies.

Can you please give me some motivation to study right now? With the current state of things I'm not seeing a lot of reasons to, and I'd like to fix that tbh

hey! I feel you. I’ve been procrastinating a bit too, ironically. It’s easy to get lost in everything you feel pressured to or have to achieve and complete especially with personal endeavors outside of academics, but my little token of advice for this would be to honestly just do it.

I used to be really unproductive, get stuck in slums throughout the week where I would just not want to do my work, but forcing yourself to do it (without burning out ofc) is the only way to get things done!

Use the small incentives as motivation, and keep a good balance between work and relaxation to prevent completely crashing. I know you can do it, stay strong, and take breaks in between when you need to 💕

Whimsie speaks 💬: Just a quick little personal update that I wanted you guys to know about because I was reminded of a very significant lesson we should all keep in mind when we’re faced with adversity!

After taking an exam for one of my classes, me and a few other classmates stayed after class to ask my teacher for our results. My teacher told me my score, I ended up getting a 97%!

One of the girls waiting for her reveal immediately whispered things to her friends, something I couldn’t really hear but it was along the lines of, “who would’ve guessed” “of course she did” “it’s because she’s a try hard” blah blah blah.

So I walked away to my friend who was waiting for me so we could head to our next lecture together, where more important things would be waiting for us ahead.

On your journey of success, you will almost always encounter conflicts along the way, it’s an inevitable given. Societal injustices, racial barriers, jealousy from those who can’t stand to witness your success, toxicity from the people you never imagined to turn their backs on you- everything will oppose you.

The only thing that determines your failure is if you allow them to get in the way.

Even if everyone around you undermines your achievements because they’re too blind to see your potential, dismisses all of the effort and sleepless nights you spent to get that score, and makes it feel like the entire world is against you, the only way to get past it is to literally walk away and continue on stronger than before.

Don’t let it destroy you, don’t linger on it when there’s a chance for you to move on.

Because there are more opportunities that you can only receive if you walk toward them without ever looking back.

When they underestimate you is when you can fight back the hardest- mind over matter, stay focused on the goal 💖

When it feels impossible, just know that you’re going to have your comeback. You’re going to get up and do better than ever.

Whoever needs to hear this: learning takes time, so take as long as you need. What matters is that you’re trying for yourself, that you’re not giving up even when education feels like it’s pushing you down. You’ll get there when it all happens.
