September 19  I haven’t posted for a while. I felt really lazy but here I am trying to get back on the track. Here are my notes for Statistics. It is the first time I used this style of note-taking and I have to admit that I love how it went.

Today was only the second day of this entire summer that I’ve had off from work so far IT FELT SO WEIRD (but I have a midterm tomorrow so thank u lol)

I went to discussion in the morning, then worked on research in the hospital (how cool is it to say that my lab is Ronald Reagan aka one of the best hospitals in the country um hello so cool), and studied for the rest of the day.

In the evening I went back to hear this orientation session’s UCP panel – a panel from our staff telling their stories and showing the great diversity of this campus – and cried in the club during the whole thing like I do *every* session

Also I think I’m sick (for the first time since winter quarter so I guess it’s about time) so let’s pray I make it through this midterm :’)

i found an amazing way for me to get by during orgo class, and that’s by taking book notes before class, then taking notes from the ppt before she presents it, and then annotating the notes that i have with what she says. it’s been really helping me out ! i don’t know if it’s clear, but i’ve taped the ppt notes together like a booklet, and it’s honestly so cute !

meanwhile, i’ve been having some really crazy and fun times with my friends, including me playing tetris with my nintendo controller during a childhood birth video, running all over campus to turn in two labs, and talking about music and linguistics with c !

mood today. went to the lab today (saturday) because i couldn’t get any results on tuesday. and again, no results today so kind of wasted all my efforts. but it’s okay! :) it will get better with practice! and i did get some stuff done while waiting for results! :)
