お久しぶりだね！I haven't been able to get into this account for a long long time but I finally did it! How are your language learning journeys going? A lot has changed for me...

Last time I posted on here I was studying in Japan. I have since graduated from university with my degree in French and Japanese studies, and I now live in Paris!

I've been living here since August, it's taken me awhile to settle in but I'm reading to get back into practicing my Japanese. Languages are skills that if you don't practice you will loose them.

Have you heard of the Japanese blogging platform Ameba? I have just created an account on there to blog about my experiences living in Paris using both my Japanese and French skills. Maybe check it out if you have time!

I will try and start posting on here again, I remember it was a lot of fun!

After the earthquake I’ve decided I’m going to make a 非常用バッグ which is an emergency bag! My friend told me to include water bottle as people sometimes panic buy water after an earthquake.

I had my Japanese visa appointment at the Embassy in London and it couldn’t have been easier! I was seen immediately as I arrived so it took less than 15 minutes. When I applied for my french study visa i was there for almost 3 hours- what a difference !

I definitely recommend having all your documents neatly in a folder so you can stay organised for your appointment.

The only pain of this experience was waiting for my Certificate of Eligibility which came so late.

Finally my last bit of documentation has arrived so I’ve booked my visa appointment for Japan !! I’m really cutting it close as I move to Japan in just over 2 weeks!!!
