Hello Again

April. 2. 2019

Well. Yeah, it’s been a second. My winter quarter went really well, but I did do a lot of relaxing and had a lot of fun! This Spring quarter though, I have a lot of refocused goals and a lot of them are academic. I’m taking new courses so: 

Biomedical Ethics (Philosophy), Global Environment (History), Women in Latin American Art (Art History :) ), and Gender and Sexuality (Gender studies)

I’m really excited about all of them, though I may have to drop whatever doesn’t count towards my major because my AHS seems pretty hefty in content and assignments. I just got into it actually and I'm incredibly excited to learn more about my own cultural identity and feminist identity through art of people like me; that is some really cool shit. 

Anyway, I may not be posting pictures as much as I used to- simply because it grew a little repetitive, but I'll keep a photographic eye just in case I want to share. See you very soon! Eat well and rest well!

I apologize for my absence, I’m still getting into the routine of last quarter here. Anyway I took these on my way to my school’s botanical gardens which are so lovely! Today I only have one lecture at five, so until then I’m doing readings and just catching up. It’s been rainy here for the last couple days and it’s making me a little lazy but I’m pushing through the sleepy haze! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Today was a bit of a stressful day, but I started it with meditation and ended it with a dance so I could count it as great. I dropped one of my classes to focus on the other three, and the lecturer did not do well do well for me... Also the Jason Mraz album is so good? Wow!

Hey study buds!!! How was everyone’s winter? Mine was a little hectic but I am really happy to be back here and start anew. I have four classes; Ancient Civilizations Greece, the Art of Greece, Intro to the History of Philosophy, and Intro to Linguistic Anthropology. I went to the on campus Starbucks to look over what books I needed and then took a lovely little nature walk back. Today’s going to be a good day!

FINALS ARE OVER!

I took my last final yesterday! So this blog will probably be inactive until early January, at least for original posting. I really hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season with rest, love and warm feelings. Wishing everyone reading this peace and happiness.

Dec. 12. 2018 

I took my Shakespeare final yesterday and I think it was passable. This is my second to last day at school before winter break, buds! I am so excited to recharge and spend time with loved ones and family. But until then I have my Art History final tomorrow night, and I mean NIGHT; like 7-9pm nighttime... Which sucks but it’s what I have to endure, I suppose. Until then my only plan is studying. Ready to finish the quarter strong!

I finished my philosophy essay folks! And, coming from an objective point of view, it was really kick ass. Like really kick ass. I learned how to play ukulele as well today? Does that count for self care or studying for the rest of my finals? No, but it was a bunch of fun! I’m planning on finishing this Shakespeare study guide tonight and then looking it over before my final tomorrow!

This day began very odd. Everything seems very off balanced and it’s giving me lot’s of anxiety. I might go swim to release some of this strange energy then come back, shower and work for the rest of the night on some finals and my last philosophy essay. I hope everyone is drinking lots of water and eating the right foods to keep you feeling really good for the rest of the day. We got this.

Finals Week

Dec. 7. 2018

Starting...now! So I did my philosophy final, which I actually did not do well on but it’s not completely irreparable and hey it’s only my first quarter of college. I really am giving myself slack today, I caught up with sleep in sacrifice of my last Shakespeare 8am, didn’t go swimming, and took a big break. Now getting started on that philosophy essay and assignment.

Dec. 6. 2018 

Rainy day once again! I have my final for philosophy tomorrow so I’ve been making a bunch of study guide notes all day. I also camped out with some friends at the dining hall to study for a little bit. Anyway, hope everyone is taking care of themselves during finals. Remember to drink water, get ample rest and note that you are worth knowledge not just grades. Study on friends!

Another beautiful rainy day at uni! It was freezing for me, a hoodie and jean jacket did not suffice but I toughed it through. I pet some therapy puppies today at the library! It was one of my last day of classes before finals week, so wish me luck!

It’s week 10! For the non quarter system friends, that’s the last week of instruction before finals week. I’m nipping stress in the bud and facing my studies head on this week, even though I am very very tired. This is the last push before winter though, and I’m ready to kill my finals! Let’s get this academic bread!
