6/100 Days of Productivity

Spent a chill afternoon at La Madeline and realized I don’t actually have a ton of things to do today! So I started my french memrise, and I’m about to get into my French in 30 days book. (Also, I just happened to sit next to a group of people speaking French ugh I love serendipity) Anyway I’m just feeling really content lately! Self care and actually good mental health for the win :))

Also I definitely do not need any more pencil bags but look at this!! So cute, so fall! The temp here got under 80 degrees yesterday which is cool here, so I am feeling the vibes. This bag is actually a like travel makeup bag from Bath and Body Works (stopped in to get a new leaves candle – love love love highly recommend), but I like that its pretty big, and stands upright. Maybe I’ll do a what’s in my pen bag soon? Send an ask to my ask box if you are interested :)

Concept: I finish school. The job I work isn’t my dream job but I enjoy doing it greatly still. It pays enough to cover everything I might need. My bills are never overdue. Money is not a thought in my head. I have a place to live. So do my dogs. It is nice and warm, I have some plants, my bookshelves are full, my sheets are always clean. There is time to read at the end of a day. I read a lot. Thinking is a good thing. I meet up with friends regularly, old and new. They love me. We make memories. I have nothing to be ashamed of. I travel a few times a year, always different places. The places I see steal my breath away. The people I meet teach me of life. They are good. There is no war. The sea calls to me and pay visit. I am independent. I am content.

You know? I actually prefer to think of it as regaining sanity after all the delusions of grandeur older generations had. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a normal, decent life with just enough, and tbh it’s their fault we think there IS something wrong with it.

15&16 days of productivity 22/9/2019

Yesterday, I studied as usual and went to class, I was so tired by the end of it 😩

Today I did some homework and then revised my notes. I didn't do much later in the day because I was tired from the week. I watched some Netflix and designed new spreads for my bujo

When I was a kid I was genuinely horrified by the idea of growing up and I think a large part of it was the insistence by adults in my life that puberty would turn me into someone completely different. They were like “sure you don’t like make up and boys now but you’ll feel differently after puberty” or like “sure you think you wouldn’t want kids now but you’ll see once you’re older”

it’s like damn, stop invalidating kids’ personalities and listen to them and maybe you won’t be so shocked when they don’t transform into a new person later

Note how both those comments op mentioned were aimed at little girls.

Not saying this dosent happen to boys to but this is definatly a gender issues here. Boys are allowed to have personalities. Boys are allowed to have different interest. (So long as it isnt a “girly thing” but most things for kids are made for boys anyway).

Girls dont want to be “girly”. To bad, thats your only option. one day youll learn to like it even if it means shameing the “tomboy” out of you.

13&14/100 days of productivity 19/9/2019

Yesterday, I went bowling with my friends and we had an amazing time! I only revised my notes, I wanted to rest a bit.

Today, I

● Revised my notes for today’s classes

● I tidied up my room

● I did homework

Today was my first day of English! We did a mock test and I scored 96/100 so I’m really proud of myself :) Also, we did a lot of XML exercises in web basics and I did good! I’m happy but really tired today. I hope your day was as nice!

100 days of productivity [2/100]

September 18th, 2019

The second day of me trying to do something productive, and I was able to get my fluids pset done. Mondays and Wednesdays are quite busy for me so I probably wont get much other work done but at least I did something.

Yesterday was super busy so I couldn’t find a moment to post about my day, so sorry about that! To sum it up, I studied in the morning and then went to class from 3pm to 9pm, then I revised and did homework.

Today:

● I revised for three of my classes, also, I made notes for them

● I tidied up my closet (finally tbh)
